Three weeks out tomorrow....
I cant believe its almost been three weeks since my surgery..just thought Id leave some thoughts as my postings have slowed down. I was lucky and had zero complications after surgery, I quit pain meds the day after. Drinking water and getting protein in has been a chore...and I love that I am thinking of eating as a chore.…

Got out yesterday ....I have to say my biggest surprise was my lack of mental clarity, I really had to focus while driving and then again going through the grocery store..effects of the low cal? Three days after....
Well I kicked the pain med to the curb last night and actually got some sleep. My intestines also woke up...sounded like adding water to a high rise building with all the gurgling. I havent been able to reach my calories but have been staying hydrated. I think today is as tired as I have felt...is this normal?

Surgery tomorrow morning.
Driving to Seattle right now for early morning check in. ..so excited for this but boy my nerves sure are kicking in. Thanks all for posting lets me feel so much more at peace and a lot more prepared for my big life change...maybe big is the wrong word :)
