Not at goal, but...
I am officially in onderland! Broke out of the 200's this week and landed at 198.6 this morning. I honestly have no recollection of when I weighed in at under 200, and I'm only 35yrs old. LOL, been a while to say the least. About 10 lbs to a healthy BMI, and 28 lbs to the goal my Dr. has set for me. Started at 360 lbs 53…

Convince me ya or nay
As I have progressed through this journey I have begun to notice some muscle loss. Not unexpected with the amount of weight I have to lose. I have lost 150 lbs so far and have 30-40 lbs. to go to get where my Dr. wants me. I am not really interested in bulking up so to speak, just looking to build functional strength like…

Major Milestone Today!
When I started this journey I set the goal of 225 lbs. As things progressed I changed my ending goal, but still wanted to reach 225 by Christmas. Well the scale said it today..225.0 I'm a happy camper and no one in my house understands so I'm telling you all. There is no way I could have got this far without your…

Dr. visit today...
Well, the Doctor visit went well. Yes I was nervous since I had not been since losing weight. By their records I have lost 98 lbs, my pulse has dropped around 20 bpm, my blood pressure is down some, and my blood sugar has dropped 16 points and is now in the 80's. Also I get to try cutting my blood pressure meds by half and…

NSV
It feels weird having a NSV about clothes, especially shorts. HA HA I have never been one to wear shorts, but the exercise made me rethink that attitude. I have been wearing cargo shorts for all my workouts. I already went down a size in them, and am right now ready to drop it again. I decided to get some "basketball"…

Happy about a couple NSV's
Not your normal success stories, but huge for me,.. For the last week or so I have finally been seeing the results of working out. Saturday I ran .5 mile, but figured it was just a fluke. Well since then I have done it 2 more times. This evening was actually about .7 miles, but I walked about 50 yards through a curve on a…

Workout question
I am walking, with some very light jogging as my primary exercise. Hard to do much else with joint problems at this time. Usually 1 day a week or so something comes up and I am unable to get my walk in, to late, rain, etc. This night I break down and ride the ancient exercise bike I have. I hate long rides on this thing.…

Been here 3 weeks.....
And so far all is going okay. I started out 7 pounds heavier than my ticker says because i was changing things before I found this great place. I'm a big guy so I have a long way to go. I wouldn't mind having a few friends to help encourage me along the way. I have read lots on pages on here and this seems to be a truly…
