heart rate question/concern
My HR is normal at rest but jumps high (185-195) during exercise. I am 24 years old. I am anemic, and have heard that can cause a higher HR. Does anyone know if this is accurate? Would you consider a high HR during exercise worthy of going to the doctor?

stretch marks question
I have stretch marks from my pregnancy that have faded to white. When I woke up today I noticed a few of them are kind of red. I don't understand why my stretch marks would be getting worse when I've been working hard on losing weight. Is it possible for older stretch marks to turn red as you shrink?

new snack ideas?
My go-to snacks are fruit (sometime PB with apple or banana slices), baby carrots and cucumber slices. What are some other suggestions for simple snacks?

sugar addiction?
Is is possible to be addicted to sugar? I find myself having uncontrollable urges to eat candy every day. I don't crave anything else. Has anyone else dealt with this? and how long did it take to stop craving sugar when you stopped eating it?

whey protein powder?
Why is it so disgusting?! I made a strawberry banana smoothie and had to dump it out because just smelling it made me gag, I couldn't take a drink of it to save my life. The directions said to add a full scoop, so maybe I should use less? Let me know what I'm doing wrong because I do not want this $20 tub of powder to go…

I need help
I took a sabbatical from MFP for about a month, gained back the 5 lbs I had lost and have fallen into a sickening pattern of binge eating. If anyone can help/offer support it would be much appreciated.

how do you distract yourself from eating?
I am a boredom eater, and a stress eater. I can do really good for a few days, then I have a few bad days and feel like my work is being wasted. I am constantly snacking because I feel like I'm hungry all the time. Recommended portions do not feel filling to me. I am just having a hard time lately, I guess.

I started being treated by a chiropractor for pinched nerves and other spinal issues today. I'm in a bit of pain because of the pinched nerves, and I'm afraid to work out because I don't want to hurt myself further. Anyone else struggling?
I started this whole process with good intentions but I'm finding it SO HARD to stay away from the yummy fattening foods. I haven't exercised in years so 15 minutes on the elliptical makes me feel like I'm about to pass out! I hate feeling weak, like I can't do this....

Is it bad if I'm over my daily protein allowance?
Almost every day I've been over my protein allowance, but under the carbs and calories. Is this something to worry about? I wouldn't think "too much" protein could be a bad thing...
