It only asks for age on the machine, so MFP may be accurate if it's also accounting for my weight. I have heard a lot of people talk about getting an HRM, but what are the benefits?

Mine has gone up but I can't tell if it's from the weight loss or if it's because I went off the birth control pill this past month. Probably both! We're not complaining though...our sex life was seriously lacking before.

Yes! The trainer I've been seeing is a woman. She's very helpful and nice but she also gets me to push harder than I ever thought I could. I lost 8 lbs in 2 weeks, and I only saw her once per week. I can't imagine how much more I would lose if I could afford to see her 2-3 times per week! lol

I like that analogy! I'm down 15 since the beginning of the summer and I sometimes think I see a small difference, and SO has told me I look like I have lost weight, but IDK. I am ready for a more noticeable difference, or at least a pant size!

I rewarded myself with a pedicure for my 15 lbs lost. I will probably keep that up for ever 15 lbs lost. When I reach my final goal weight of 140 lbs my father said he's buy me a new wardrobe.. He probably just said that because he doesn't think I will actually get there, but I will! (Of course I would spend reasonably lol)

I put a whole banana, some strawberries, some almond milk and the scoop of powder and blended it. I definitely need to add ice or use frozen fruit, because even after refrigeration it still tasted lukewarm, which adds to the gross factor.

The kind I got was "Pure Protein" from Walmart. I think what I'll try is a smaller amount, because the scoop is pretty big.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! So far I do spend a lot of time reading and online to distract myself but maybe a creative hobby would help! I think I'll go to Hobby Lobby next weekend to browse and pick out something fun to work on.

Oh I definitely will be following doctor's orders. I don't want to worsen my situation. I'm about 19 months post partum now...no more excuses for me to use lol I've just been lazy for the last year or so. Work and taking care of little one was the only thing I was focused on.

I just tried a belly dancing video last night and I loved it...so much fun I barely felt like I was even working out. I definitely want to stick with it and maybe do the bollywood dance videos too.

I definitely don't want to stop my monthly visitor haha I might freak out and think I'm pregnant ;) Plus when I do want to start trying to conceive again I'll need to have a healthy BMI and monthly cycle.

OMG I could have written this word for word. When I'm PMSing I cannot get enough of snack food. First it's something sweet and then I need something salty and then an hour later the cycle begins again. I will have to see what kind of suggestions you get, because I have this problem as well :)
