Finally figured out the problem with my HRM
I was going CRAZY. My HRM was cheating me on calories, and I knew it was low, just couldn't figure out why. I killed myself in a Zumba class, worked at least as hard as the lady next to me, but her HRM had her calories at 600-ish, while mine said 359. HRM calories look wrong?
OK, here's the deal. Should I trust my new HRM when it is consistently telling me the calories I'm burning are only about half of what MFP tells me an exercise should burn, and even less of what the machines in the gym are telling me? Should I make up extra calories the next day?
If I go over my calorie goal one day, should I go under my goal by that amount the next day? Or, should I just chalk it up and eat to my goal each day?
