Slow jogging vs. brisk walking
I jog very slowly. I don't have a gadget that tells me exactly but my experience with treadmills tells me it's probably 4.5 mph. I jog slowly because I'm not much of a runner and also I live in the mountains (it's ALL uphill baby). However, on MFP the slowest running speed is 5 mph and they considered 4.5 mph to be brisk…

Hi everybody, I just signed up for the Burlington Color Run on Saturday, Sept. 13th. I'm not much of a runner so I was hoping the excitement of this type of 5K will motivate me to actually train.
