oatmeal- part 2
Ok so I am an oatmeal fiend, but does it cause you water retention, somewhere I read that it absorbs water in your gut and pushes everything through, I just feel bloated lately- any thoughts?

Maybe I should just stay off the scale. I feel like my love handles and mid section are going down and the pants are fitting more loosely, but the scale hasn't moved. It might have even ticked up a point or two. I have stayed close to on goal, and weighing everyday...grrrr :/

TDEE & BMR please help
New guy here! Can someone help me out with the difference or the correlation. 36, Sedentary (as of now) 6'6 280 desk jockey. The http://iifym.com/tdee-calculator is giving me the following numbers: BMR: 2336 TDEE: 2803 and for 2 lbs a week MFP has my caloric limit at 1920 Thanks in advance! :)

frustrated (back tracked last night)
Fell off the boat yesterday, ate really good all day long, had a bowl of ice cream and Mexican food and busted my daily intake by 250. Grrrrrrr........its frustrating.

6'6 guy, somewhere in the neighborhood of 280 (that was three weeks ago, ill update). I carry the 280 well but would be much happier about 50 lbs lighter. Oatmeal (instant maple brown sugar)
So how does oatmeal equate into all of this? I could eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Are the carbs going to hinder me from dropping weight, although im still counting towards my calorie goal.
