Iron Kid
My two oldest girls ages 12 and 11 want to participate in Iron Kid. They need to train and be able to do 300 yard swim, 8 mile bike ride, and 2 mile run. They can practice for the running and biking, but any suggestions on what type of work outs would help them with swimming? (We don’t have access to a pool)

Ten Minute Trainer
Is Ten Minute Trainer count as strength training and toning? Not really sure how to ask this, but if I do the CD’s (more then one CD at a time) 3 times a week, would this count as strength training or does only lifting weights count for toning? I do tons of elliptical, stair climber, treadmill, volley ball etc….. but want…

Salt!
Does to much salt in your diet prevent you from losing weight or just makes you retain water? I love salt!

Is it better?
Is it better to work out half an hour a day or 3 times a week for an hour? Or is it the same? Just curious because I usually am able to find time to do 3 times a week for an hour versus half hour every day. Your thoughts????

My first post. I have been using this site for a few months. I am a mother of six ages 12 to 10 months. Work full time. My life doesn’t leave much ME time, but I have been working on it. I struggle with eating right, getting enough sleep, and being nice to myself. Looking for people that can relate :o )
