Is it better?

Is it better to work out half an hour a day or 3 times a week for an hour? Or is it the same? Just curious because I usually am able to find time to do 3 times a week for an hour versus half hour every day. Your thoughts????

I'd say the longer workouts because your heart rate will be in the fat burning zone longer.....0

And I'd think that bumping up your HR once per day might be better than every other day. Besides once you get in the habit of exercising once per day, you might be less likely to skip a workout (or if you DO skip a workout once in a while, it will have less impact). Eventually you might even decide to extend your daily session, thus burning even more calories!!0

There's actually several studies that have shown you're better off to do less exercise each day, and then do it more days. It's less of a shock to your body to do it every day, so long term you tend to be healthier than doing it 1 hour a day less days.0
