Labor Day fitness/weight loss retreat: ideas?
My Lovely MFPers, I NEED to get away next weekend, and want to do a fitness/weight loss/ mind clearing retreat. I live in Western PA. Any ideas?

Lazy? Or need a workout day off? How can I discern?
I struggle with this one constantly. Like today: muscles ache, worked out four days in a row, but feeling guilty right now and thinking I should just push through it. I have a hard workout tomorrow. But I have a goal! How do you discern?

I found a new in box Insanity on Craigslist for 70 bucks. Should I negotiate or is this a good price? (I like to have advice on "major" purchases :bigsmile: )

HELP: it's only 3 PM, and ate most of calories!
What do you do when it is only 3 PM and you've eaten all but 200+ calories for the day? I already exercised, too! *ugh* (work going-away party for CEO... in case anyone needed to hear my excuse/rationalizations...):noway:

thoughts on "cheat" meals?
So, my trainer is a big proponent of cheat meals once a week-- she says it is important psychologically as well as physically. But my holistic nutritionist says it defeats the purpose -- if you are trying to get off sugar (which I am), then you detox for a week and the cheat sets off cravings. I crave sweets all the time,…
