1000+ Consecutive Days logged on MFP
A few years ago, I met some MFP friends, still on my FL, when responding to a similar inquiry. I figured I would pay it forward and see if there is any interest in contributing to this thread and connecting with long committed MFP die-hards. If you send a FR, just let me know if you found me on this community thread.

Hurt my left shoulder today
I strained to get the last rep with a dumbbell doing standing curls at the gym at my resort - last day of vacation and I felt something crunch in there - no pop, but definitely a crunch. At my age of 46, I feel it may be time for a cortisone shot in my left shoulder. I had one last year in my right shoulder as my doctor…

Questions about my planned "reset"
Today is my 900th consecutive day of logging on MFP - I had initially lost close to 70 pounds from March 2011 - June 2012. I briefly weighed under 200 pounds (for 1 evening, after a workout  ) and then held my weight around 205-210 pounds through the remainder of summer of 2012. In October 2012, I had minor…

I'm Open for Suggestions
I have been on MFP for since May 2011 - next week will be 1000 consecutive days logged in, which I am very proud of. I have used this site to lose nearly 70 pounds over the course of 2011-2012, with my settings being "lightly active" and using the recommended "1 pound per week" for my calorie goal. My low weight was 199…

Need some expert advice on cutting
I have been exercising 5-6 days a week cardio for the past 2+ years - my average is 30-35 miles per week, with about 15%-20% running (7.5 - 7.7 mph), 60%-70% power walk (4.0 - 4.4 mph), and the remainder leisurely pace (3.5 - 3.7 mph). I've been at maintenance for the past 5-6 months and I want to put in a cut some time…

Running 5K on Saturday
OK, I've worked out pretty hard over the past five months since my knee surgery (torn meniscus). I started running again in January and my time in the mile (7:47) has improved but I can't seem to finish a 5K running at that pace. I can get there if I break down running and powerwalking, which I do 5X weekly, and the total…

General Question about MFP Sugar daily goals
I'm very surprised by the little amount of fruit it takes to go over the recommended daily limit for sugars on MFP. A large banana, 10 strawberries, and a large apple maxes out the sugars on a normal day before exercising. Obviously that number adjusts for calories burned, but does the daily goal seem to be too low? With…

Running my first 5K tomorrow morning
I hope to attain one of my main goals that I set last year when I began losing weight, giving a big amount of credit to My Fitness Pal. I am running a 5K tomorrow morning - I've done this about 10 times on my own, and recently have got my times down around 8 minute miles (7.5 mph). My goal is to finish around or under 26…
