Post a pic
Hey guys, Is it just me or does anyone else feel everyone should post a pic on their profile? I think it should be a pic of yourself, but if you want to put your child, spouse, pet, toy, transformer, car, etc...it is ok. At least we can get a glimpse as to who you are. I dont agree with it, but even posting a picture of a…

By the numbers.
Of my 36 friends I have on MFP, 32 or 89% have logged on today. The other 11% or 4 logged in yesterday, and probably will later on. That means I have 100% commitment from my MFP friends in this journey. I guarantee that Farmville oe Cafe World doesn't have half that number. Keep up the awesome job friends, and remember,…

Now I lay me down to sleep I pray the Lord my legs to keep From feeling like jello in the morning Cause today Bootcamp was all about touring The bleachers that had 72 steps each way, And now I know I gotta pay For my desire to be healthy in life, And trying to keep up with my wife Now to my fellow MFPers Keep on keeping on…

How much is too much?
This post will be edited to protect the innocent!!! I recently looked a young lady's profile and she says she wanted to lose 21 pounds. Currently she is "20 years old", weighs "110 pounds". I did not get any info on the height so cannot speak on that. She is concerned that she has plateaued and thinks that she will be able…

Graduation present re-gifting
So, I was wondering what to get my neighbors son who graduated this year. I did not recall if they bought my son anything when he graduated last year, not to mention the fact that they did not go to see him graduate, but I thought $100 would be good. My wife went through my son's gift from last year, and suprisingly found…

Jumpstarting Metabolism by eating more.
OK...so it says I have 2875 calories remaining to eat today. I am gonna correct on the high side and try to eat 1500 more calories today. Gonna do this everyday for a week and see how my metabolism jumpstarts. Well, I could work out less, but that is not an option as The Runaways have 12 teams to leave in the dust...had to…

Feeling bad about taking a day off...
Man, I got the "I took a day off Blues". Did not do any exercise today, and felt a little down about it,until I weighed myself and saw I am holding. Crystal Light, Hawaiian Punch, Snapple...etc PACKETS
First of all, I hate drinking plain old water. I usually add flavored packets to make water more palatable. Am I sabotaging my diet by doing so? Also, what say ye about diet drinks? I am sure there are pros and cons on both sides, and would like to hear both so I am able to make a good decision for me. Thanks MFPers.

Treadmill calorie counter
I do a lot of treadmill walking and usually use that for my calorie counter. I am able to input my weight(usually go 5# less than actual wt), and then go from there. I am curious to know if anyone has any insight how accurate they are and can I rely on that as a guide. Thanks.

Approx. 2000 remaining cals a day and no significant weight
Soooo....I am determined to reach at least 1200 cals today, hungry or not. So far I have taken in 320 and the rest of my day is planned so I can take in another 900Kcals. I spent 90+ minutes on the treadmill this morning and that gives me a remainder of 1370 cals to go(even after eating my 900 planned cals). I plan to work…
