I have quiet a few friends who have done weight watchers and lost alot of weight. I was thinking about joining them but was wondering if they were really worth the money. I was looking at start Jenny Craig (because I get a discount through my insurance) and was wanting to know if anybody has tried it before? If not have you tried nuritsystem or would you just recommend buying my everyday normal foods and just eating smaller portions?

Low Carb Diet
Has anybody done a low carb diet?? I have a family member who is doing a low carb diet and she has lost 12lbs in a week but I am not sure what low card diet she is doing. I am thinking about doing this but I am not exactly sure what I should be doing. Anybody have any ideas??

Weight training
Should I lift weights before or after I exercise? I usually do the elliptical machine three times a week (40 mins a day) and a stationary bicycle twice a week (35 mins).

Weighing your food..
Okay so my question is should I weigh my food before I cook it? Also should I measure out my food before I cook it? The reason I ask is because I went to cook me some cabbage, I measured it out before I cooked it to have exactly three 1 cup servings but after I cooked it I measured it out again and only got 2 servings.

Getting that tummy down
So I heard that I should be running in order to get rid of my stomach. Well I am not much of a runner so I thought I would try the elliptical at my local gym. Now my question is should I continue to do that or should I actually get up and start running on the treadmill?

Heart Rate Monitor
Okay so I am thinking about getting a heart rate monitor so when I exercise at home I know how many calories I burn BUT I have no clue what I should be looking for. Any suggestions on good heart rate monitors that are not going to cost me a lot of money?
