Anti-depressants and side effects
I've recently been diagnosed with moderate depression, general anxiety disorder and mild OCD. I've most likely lived with the depression most of my life, but have always been able to cope with it on my own. Last June, my step dad died very suddenly from an undiagnosed cancer and it seemed to be the straw that pushed my…

Fish Recipes Needed
So, hubby and I are going to try and add fish to our diet. We don't have a lot of experience with it so if anyone has any suggestions or easy (to start) recipes, your input would be helpful! Neither one of us is a salmon fan though.

If you're under your goal and not hungry AT ALL, do you stil

I've actually been using MFP mobile for a couple months and the website a few weeks after that. I was mostly using it to track my food faster and easier (than my blackberry) and to follow the friend who introduced me to MFP. I've steadily explored new functions and uses, most recently the forums. I think support is a great…

I need some suggestions on good stretching exercises...
I have recently started regular treadmill work and have found my calf muscles incredibly tight the following day. This morning my left one was so tight that I was surprised I hadn't woken up in the middle of the night screaming from a charlie horse! I've never been very good at remembering stretching exercises so, if…

Study offers clues to emotional eating
This is an article I read on cnn.com. I think it offers some interesting insight into 'emotional eating'. I'm sure there are more than one of us who belong to this sight who struggle with emotional eating. It is worth it to read through. Anyone who's sought solace in pizza or a pint of ice cream knows that food can be…
