I'm just starting out at a gym, tomorrow. (9-30-11) I have been to gyms before and never really had issues with any of the cardio machines. I love the elliptical as it's easy on my hips and knees. Weight loss/gains....
Am I correct in assuming that 3500 calories is equal to a pound? If you eat 3500 more than you use you gain a pound and if you burn 3500 more than you eat you lose a pound, is this right? Medicines....calories??
I'm sure it's been asked before but I couldn't find anything in the forums about it. I take several (ok a BUNCH) of different meds, 5 for high blood pressure, 3 for diabetes, aspirin regimen, etc....is there any significant caloric value to prescription meds that I need to be counting?
