Race reports from 4/14-4/15
I had a great day at my first tri of the year; an olympic distance. I was TWENTY minutes faster than 2010. Several reasons: it was hot in 2010 (it was hot this weekend too). 2012 warm winter has meant a boatload more training. My bike split was in the top 25 of bike splits. Run tanked and was ranked in the bottom 10% :-( I like to go hard on the bike my crappy run was a…

Running breakthrough
I had a personal breakthrough today: crushed a 7 mile run in 59:33. That is by far a record for me since getting heavy. It was made possible by being 10 pounds lighter (Since Jan 9th of this year), and eating right. And of course with the support of friends I have on MFP (both of them)! Thanks fellas. Lighter is definitely…
