Diablo 3 security issues
I dunno how many people know about this, but there's some seriously messed up security issues going on with Diablo 3 right now, a lot of peoples' account are getting "hacked" for lack of a better word, and items/gold are disappearing. There's a bunch of long threads over on Battle.net, and Blizzard is apparently rolling…

Hibernation is over, it's hot and I'm back!
I took a couple of months off over the winter break to unfortunately put about 20lbs back of the 75lbs I lost back on. It's warm again though, so I'm getting back down to business, time for a lot of pool times, walking, and elliptical. I'm starting a lot of earlier this summer than I did last year, so I'm hoping to sweat…

If you like Skyrim or Fable, keep an eye on Amalur
New game coming out on Tuesday the 7th, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. It's kind of a prequel to an MMO 38 Studios is working on, but it's definitely a fully featured, standalone title, featuring a huge open world and 200-300 hours of gameplay. There's a demo out on the PC/PS3/360, allows you to play through the first part…

Cool little free game, not good for my OCD tho
https://www.digipen.edu/?id=1170&proj=24629 10 minutes to learn, hours of your life to dig away at the mountain of ASCII goodness. Also, free. Comes out of the same school that the guys who did Portal did.

Have you read the graphic novels?
Just wondering how many people have read the graphics novels and how you feel the show stacks up against them.Currently I've made it through issue 85, and I had a big gap between issue 43 and the rest, so I had to go back and re-read the earlier ones to get an idea of how much the TV show has strayed from the original…

12 hours into Skyrim, and it's not even Saturday yet
Picked up Skyrim last night at midnight, got home about 12:20, installed it, registered it on Steam, and fired it up, played til 4am. Got up at 7:30am this morning, started playing again til around noon. Went to lunch and a movie, came back and hopped back in at around 4pm and just hopped out, it's right at 8. 12 hours,…

When you play Skyrim, who will YOU be?
"Whenever I play a "choice based" game (Mass Effect, Fable etc) I always take on the character and personality of Commander Riker from Star Trek: TNG. Skyrim will be no different."

Is there a "too high" when it comes to heart rate?
Now that I've got my HRM, I know that when I do the elliptical, I peak out around 170-175bpm by the time I ramp up around 10 minutes in and stay that way pretty much until I'm done, usually around 130 strides per minute on average. I see other people post lower rates, in a lot of cases, a lot lower, so I'm wondering if…

Gamers playing Battlefield 3 on the PC?
If so, add me on Origin if you'd like, ID is Krakn. Single player seems to be kind of carbon copy Modern Warfare type gameplay, Multiplayer is more Call of Duty than I'd like, but it's still a lot of fun. Off work for the rest of the week, so plan on spending a lot of time in-game if at all possible, lol.

Walking vs. Walking Uphill
I threw the incline on my treadmill up to 8% incline today and did 48 minutes at 3.5MPH. I've read a few places that a 10% incline more than doubles the number of calories burned on a flat surface, so I figure 8% has gotta be a pretty big jump in calorie expenditure. Anyone have any experience testing this on an HRM? Just…

5 months later thinner me, thinner face
Was comparing pictures I've been taking occasionally since I started and noticed my face seems a lot skinnier. Of course, I've dropped 3 pants sizes and 2 shirt sizes, too, but someone at work the other day mentioned that I didn't have a "fat face" anymore, so that was kind of cool as well.

Who knew?
Seems like eating right and exercise is just over-thinking the situation. Apparently you can bathe yourself skinny!

Kind of a weird, niche thing...anyone into Minecraft?
Been playing Minecraft since it before it went into beta, run my own server for it actually. Wondering if anyone else has messed around with it? I've gotten a lot of friends into it that normally don't game but enjoy the creative side of it, building, exploring the world, etc.

You know what ladies, you're absolutely right, but maybe it'
So since the beginning of marital time, someone at work or online or at work will drop a piece of advice, and I'll go home to share it with my wife, only to get, "I've been telling you that for YEARS, but you never pay any attention until someone else tells you!" So this weekend she said someone at work has the same…

Anyone recommend any of the Kinect exercise games?
I got my kids a Kinect for Xmas, and it has been sitting there collecting dust, since about 2 weeks after they opened it, but I was thinking about picking up Zumba or Biggest Loser or one of those games for the 360 to use with it, but I don't want to get something that's going to be crap. Anyone recommend a game that they…

My first progress picture
All told, around 45lbs. down since this picture was taken. Still a long way to go, but it feels good to see a change. I was wearing a size 52 shorts in that picture, now I can fit into a size 42.

New...again, lol
2 years ago I lost around 75lbs and then fell off the wagon (or got on the wagon? I haven't seen that Seinfeld episode in awhile) and gradually gained it all back and then some. As of last Monday, I'm starting over again, limiting my calorie intake to around 1200-1400 calories, spending a lot of time at the pool, and…
