Perhaps swapping out the refined carbs for whole foods? Not all carbs are the same. I can easily stay within my calories when I focus on fruits, vegetables, and whole grains - not whole grain product…3 -

I had the same problem. I slowed down considerably. Between that and doing calf stretches, I can now run without pain.2
