    That is great Jim.

9.6 (172.8) Not unexpected. We had a brunch as opposed to a turkey dinner. Egg salad sandwiches, fruit, chocolate croisant (I only had half), and of course a candy cane. Lots of carbs.
But, I feel good, no ill effects for the pancreas. Today is salad, salad, oh yeah, salad. With some chicken of course.

mine this morning was 147. I walked a mile this morning, had breakfast right afterwards and then an hour after I ate took my blood. This is high for-me was it because of my walk? My type 2 is under control now, so insurance only allows me to test once a day--which I am not liking...my last fasting reading was 126. Just wondering

10.2 (183.6). Ugh. I was so hungry last night around 9:00, I had a peanut butter sandwich. It's been high since Christmas.

Today's my "rest fingers" day :)

My doctor would be mad if I did that.

8.6 (154.8) coming down. I'll go for a swim today and see if that helps lower it some more.

I keep a log that shows the day "off" so I guess he doesn't mind.

    Yesterday was 107 & today was 100

averaging 125 this week after taking a vacation from meter for the holiday. Exercising after dinner is a big help, I am going to keep doing that. When I took a vacation from the meter I also took a diet vacation of sorts and indulged in old habits (like wine every night.) One day when I was driving I had a beet/basil/lime/mint juice cocktail instead, it was fantastic. I need to find the recipe for that. happy new years everyone!
