Has anyone done the 21 Day Fix challenge? What I read online is that it works, but you have to repetitively complete a series of 21 days to see full results. I have P90 and like it, but thought of looking into this also. Just wondering what public opinion is...

i've lost 20lbs on the 21 day fix...used the program since november 2014 and LOVE IT!! I did the actual dvds it came with for the first 21 days, then incorporated some extra walking...i am now almost done round 4 of the program...but now i just use the portion control system and i'm now doing Turbo Jam 8 weeks fitness challenge (started jan 1) and i'm already seeing even more results. I hope you all like it.

I'm actually on here looking for an accountability buddy as i really want to get back into using MFP with the programs i have. I am 28 years old, female who loves to stay active and i'm motivated to keep up with my programs....but i'm finding it hard to punch in my actual calorie intake. can someone add me as a friend and we can stay on track together?
  • I am 8lbs down and currently on day 11 of the 21 day fix .. its great I love it .. I would love some accountability friends who are also going through it .. you can all add me too:)

Day 13 and down 12.2 pounds!
  • I've done several rounds of the 21 day fix and had great success. Now I have a handful of the videos that I really enjoy and do those along with running throughout the week.
I have have P90X3 which I need to start again and put more effort into it.

I have been checking out all of the Beachbody videos/programs. I am leaning towards 21 Day Fix. Sounds like some of you are having great results. I have been very sedentary for many years, have a desk job that Iwork 10 hours a day at as well so I have gained a lot of weight. With the modifier this would be a nice "beginner" program for me. Wish you all much success.

I'm on day 9 and down 2.5 lbs. I'm doing Insanity along with it since I didn't buy the program. I was already doing Insanity when I started 21DF and I'm happy with my results so far. I think its a great program if you have problems with portion control like me.
  • Day 8. 5 lbs gone love the 30 min workouts! But it's dedication!

21 day fix has absolutely worked for me. No more having to log every calorie is sooo liberating!

I just ordered the program today! Excited to get started. I've been perusing Pinterest to get family meal ideas. I love to cook and I have a hungry husband and 6 year old that I will still need to feed;)

I just started last week and really am enjoying the workouts! It's not crazy hard or super easy so is the perfect level for me. Lookimg to lose 10-15 before a cruise in April so will be using this program.
  • I just ordered my 21 day fix kit a couple days ago..I'm so excited to get started! I've been watching a couple friends go through the program and its working great for them. I have problems with portion control so I think the containers are going to be a huge plus for me. I start in a couple weeks, and I'd love some accountability buddies to keep me motivated as I start my new journey!

Day 1 of my 2nd round and I have big results in my first 21 days. I lost 6 inches around my hips and am getting defined muscles the eating plan is way easier then I thought it would be and I was the most unhealthy person before I started this. Hope you like it

I'm doing the workouts but not the meal plan (sticking to MFP calories logging). I started last week but could only workout 4 days so I'm restarting from scratch this week, just finished the Total Body Cardio workout and I feel tired but awesome at the same time :)
FYI, I workout with a heart rate monitor and for today's workout it says I burnt 285 calories.

So, why don't you want to use the portion system?

Honestly, I just don't want to go through the hassle :)
Also, I have no problem adjusting my portions and balancing my food groups on my own, and I feel the portions/containers system has been designed to teach this to people who are not used to having a balanced diet and/or eat too much.

I just ordered it and I can't wait to try it! I like the idea of the containers. It seems very visual and I think that will help me.

I am starting my second round of 21 Day Fix Extreme. I did the original 21 Day Fix program and decided to try the Extreme version. I lost about 6 lbs in the first round, but I did not commit 100% to the nutrition....so I could've loss more.
I really like her program and Extreme is even tougher! More intense moves and shorter breaks. I average about 250-300 cals burn in each session.
I personally love the containers. I know how to manage portion sizes and log everything in MFP, but it keeps me on track with the amount of each group to eat. I hardly ever eat enough fruit and tend to eat too many carbs. So knowing I can only eat so many reds, yellows, blue, etc., has been very beneficial. Good Luck and feel free to add me as well!!

Day 8 and this seems to be THE program for me. Totally helps me with portion control and I love the workouts. The containers and the planning that go with it are what is key for me.

We have renovations going on so I'm not starting until my house is back in order because right now we have 1/3 of our house gone and all of the furniture in it is in the other 2/3. I need space to move!!! ARGH!

But yesterday the contractor said that the floor would be down by tomorrow (hoping he doesn't change his mind about that) and then we just wait for the carpet to be installed and THEN we move all the furniture back into the room (including boxes and boxes of books to be reshelved--talk about your exercise!) and then I'll be able to move around my home with freedom.

    Yay!

In the meantime, I'm going to start using the food containers tomorrow. So I'm super excited about starting but I confess I'm also super excited about getting my home back in order. Tired of living in chaos!

Starting 21 Day Fix tomorrow! I plan on blogging about it and am going to track my progress and write about my experience in a smashbook. I figure the more I commit myself to this, the less likely I am to give up.

Tomorrow I'll begin the 3 Day Quick Fix. I even mixed up some of the seasoning blends in the book to have them on hand and ready to go.

Can anyone explain to me why MFP twists images around? I find this so confusing when I upload a vertical picture and it flips to horizontal.

Started 21DF today and I am going to have to modify a bit more than the modifications suggest because of my bad knees and really bad balance. But I got all the way through. Wrote a blog post about Day 1: satia.blogspot.com/2015/03/21-day-fix-day-one.html

    How is everyone else doing?

I did my first workout today! It was good. I wish she was saying the weights they were using. I guessed weights for the first round and then went up or down for the 2nd round, as needed. I used 5, 8, and 10s.

I didn't use any weights. I wanted to see how I could handle the exercises before pushing myself. I'm exercising with pre-existing conditions--a balance disorder and severe osteoarthritis in my knees.

But I made it through! Are you doing the 3 Day Quick Fix? I am and I still have one more meal to eat and I don't know how I'm going to make myself eat another bite. I feel stuffed!

I'm just starting today. How do you guys log your 21 Day Fit workouts here on MFP?

I want to try the 3 day fix for the last 3 days...if I can. I know it is only 3 days, but it is also restrictive!

I log it by creating my own exercise and then I just put 1 calorie burned. I have a fitbit charge HR which tells me how many calories I burned but I don't always sync it. If you don'y have a HR monitor, you could also log it as circuit training.
