    You are all so motivating. I was not going to walk tonight and just go with what I have. It is freezing out there. BUT... i have not got to 10K foot prints today.. So I am heading out.

    I am back. It would have been more but nature called ;) .. I left 6,024 foot prints. The number is under 10K but now I know what I have to do it.

    I'm going to try to keep up with this. My mom just happened to give me a step tracker (I don't think it was that expensive) and I logged a little over 11000 yesterday. My daughter is wearing it for fun today, so I will wear it again tomorrow. Any studies link this to weight loss? I just read an article that said it would only help you loose about 3 pounds over a real long period of time. I am hoping that was wrong!

    1/2 my firbit arrived this evening
    1/3 cold rainy day but got in 6600 steps and 10 flights of stairs!!

    I'm aiming for 10k per day, was 11k yesterday as we were out shopping. Don't know what it will be like tomorrow when I'm back at work - desk job - need to make sure I get in my exercise and dog walking time!

    I had 4,977 steps today using crutches. Hoping for more tomorrow since I start back to work after being off for almost 9 weeks after surgery. Actually really looking forward to being productive again. :D

    We had freezing rain and wind today so it was an indoor day for me. Work day tomorrow with lunch time walks around the block. It will be cold, there is a polar wind coming but I will bundle up or walk the halls at work.

    We are in the polar vortex.... that limits my walking spaces. They saw me walking around the office today. I am finding a few routes that will not bother people if I go past a few times. It is a small office with stairs in a few places. To get to the second floor it is 1.5 floors. Thus I am getting some stair work in at the same time. All is good :)
