This is great - I like this challenge...I track my steps from the time I get up in the morning to the time I go to bed. I sit at a desk all day and am away from home from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. ....so weekends I can do better. I work really hard at getting over 10,000 steps at least 15 days of the month. Tonight ... I had to walk around the house to get my 10,000 steps.

I have several of Leslie's DVD's - I only use them when I can't walk outside. I love to walk outside - fresh air - sometimes sunshine... and my black lab needs the workout too. Sometimes work gets in the way though... 14 hrs away from home 4 days a week...

I had a dog until last October. She was my walking buddy. I stopped everything at that point in time :( ... We used to walk minimum 3 times a day. So I decided it was time to get moving again. It is a slow road but it is working.

I am away from the house long hours as well. It is an hour commute each way to work so that makes it a minimum 10 hour day. ..

Next is a job closer to home :)

I am spending a week with my daughter, SIL and grandangels. Hoping to stay on track and get at least my 12,000 steps in for 5 miles each day. I am eating lots of great tasting food and losing the weight! Live feels really good right now!! Hope everyone is staying on track too and finding it is easier than it was yesterday.

I have looked into it and am checking out the FitBit Charger HR. Having knowledge of my heartrate, to me is a good idea. I am older and overweight. Last thing I need is to ignore my heart.

Hence why doing all of this is good :)

I have found that with my particular stride I need to get in 12,000 steps to reach the FIVE MILE MARK. My FitBit is set to go off at 10,000 steps. I love the vibration around my wrist because I know I am not far from my goal. I am feeling great and loving life. Cheers to all of us living HEALTHIER LIVES!!
