Please reply here with a number. Average amount of times PER WEEK that you eat restaurant food, whether dine in, or take out.

Just curious. Thank you everyone!

It varies, but I would say it averages out over the year to once or twice a week.

frequently this uses the following breakdown:
-dinner out with family x 2
-lunches during the week x 2

EDIT: Upon further consideration. I'm not sure about my number. I work close to a rather large asian supermarket with a food court and deli. I will go there essentially every work day, frequently multiple times per day; I just don't like pre-buying my food and bringing it to work. I much prefer the act of shopping and deciding what I want when I'm going to eat. So I would consider some of the deli items and food court stuff to be "restaurant food" while the super market stuff as not. I generally try to stick to the supermarket food.

If I am traveling for work, which I do fairly often, it would be 15-20. When I am home, it's more like 4-5.

<1. Unless you count the 120 calorie drink I get from Starbucks on Fridays. Then it's <2.

If my work's salad bar counts as a restaurant, 5-7 times per week. Otherwise, less than once a month.

    Somewhere very close to 0.

I cook just about every single meal I eat; we only eat out or buy ready made food very rarely.

Up until a few months ago, probably most 90% of my meals.

Now, 4 times a month is the limit I've put on myself.

My waistline and my wallet are much happier for it....although, my lazy self grumbles from time to time about all the cooking and dishes. lol.

4, which I always considered a lot. Plus one trip a week to the bar for trivia where I'll have two beers and possibly popcorn if I'm still hungry after my dinner at home.

Probably fast food/ fast casual about 2-3 a week. A sit-down restaurant about once every 2 weeks.

2 times a week. However ONE of those meals will be a cheat whatever i want meal. The second one will follow my Macros.

Like a 7 oz steak from earls with the sauteed mushrooms on the side (no oil)

Or the plain chicken breast with 1/2 cup rice from Go grill

This month however i am eliminating all cheats just for science. To see how cheats emotionally affect me. To see how much that mentally brings to the table. Cause i am curious like that. So 0 this month. But i am sure i will make up for that and drag the average back up to 2 in no time

0 on average. If I eat fast food or go to a restaurant, it is not an average week for me!
