Is there anyone here that does a low carb diet and it works for them? I am testing the waters of a low carb lifestyle change. So far in a month i have lost 20 pounds. but for the past week have been at a stand still. Does anyone have any tips?

Yes!
Ive been LCHF for awhile, i was at 50g net a day for awhile, then i dropped to 50g total a day, now im down to 20g net a day, or try to be.
I am not super consistant at the moment just because of life issues. But I dropped a bit of weight, then sat for awhile. Then I drop a bit more weight, then sit for a bit. It seems to be a normal occurence with Keto and/or LCHF. Weight seems to drop in spurts for some people instead of a steady weekly loss.
Keep doing what you are doing if its working for you. on Keto/LCHF dont change things unless it has been a couple months without weight loss as that's often how long it seems to take before your body is ready to let go of some more weight. Drink your water, keep your sodium, magnesium and potassium up.
Also, check into http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/1143-keto and http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/394-low-carber-daily-forum-the-lcd-group to give you good ideas, how-to and to connect with others doing the same thing.
Welcome to the PCOS board. Many of us do LCHF or Keto because we have Insulin resistant pcos and it can help so very much.0 -

Also, it's not uncommon to stall again around week 4 when first starting. So there's that, too.0 -
Tomorrow is my day 28, and I've lost some weight (around 10 total pounds, I think, but I lost 5 pounds of water weight the day before I started LCHF), but the benefits to my health far outweigh any loss or lack thereof! I positively love how I feel these days! I'm learning to listen to my body again. It is amazing in ways I didn't know existed. I second the other groups. Love the advice (WOE recommended by my specialist) without being ridiculously accused of being a fad diet and other nonsense.0
