    Today was

2X400M time trial rest 4 min b/w runs

    Metcon:
    45 T2B buy in
    then
    3 rounds of
    15 deadlifts (225/163#)
    15 backsquats (225/163#)
***the catch...all weights must come from the floor, so you are basically limited by your hang power clean ability because you have to get it on to your back :)

I did 123# for DL/BS and finished in 13:16. I'm really slow at T2B so that was a real time suck

That's a sneaky one to have to get the weight to your back for the squats!

    Yesterday's WOD.
    5 Rounds for reps:
    30 seconds 10 M Sprint
    30 seconds rest
    30 seconds Burpees
    30 seconds rest
    30 seconds Double Unders
    30 seconds rest.

I'm not much of a runner, so I was really dreading sprinting up and down the floor in our box, but I ended up with a small NSV out of it for all of my agonizing. I actually led the sprints in the last round (out of my group of 3 other chicks), and I was the only one who managed to get a full 8 "reps" in of that on the last round, too.

    Today's WOD.
    15-12-9
    Squat Snatch (115/75)
    Box Jumps (30"/24")

If you're not much for the squat snatch (i.e. not proficient), you can do power snatches followed by air squats.

    Tomorrow's WOD
    "Cindy"
    20 minute AMRAP:
    5 pull-ups
    10 push-ups
    15 air squats

Noooooot really looking forward to Cindy, but I guess we'll see how it goes. I'll be doing banded pull-ups.

 Angry that I haven't been able to WOD since last Monday. Combination of very sore shoulder and being out of town. I did go to a smash party at my box yesterday and then gingerly worked on my handstands and negative pull-ups, but I'm scared to really test the shoulder out  Hoping to be posting here again very soon. Like tomorrow! A few of us are thinking of doing "Bring Sally Up" tomorrow!

WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Finally back to CF today

    WOD
    “Tabata Something Else”

Complete 32 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest where the first 8 intervals are pull-ups, the second 8 are push-ups, the third 8 intervals are sit-ups, and finally, the last 8 intervals are squats. There is no rest between exercises.

Strength/Skill – Choose one, both if time allows
5 x 5 Squat Snatches, touch and go, <= 60% (Most recent 1 rep max power snatch)

4 x 7 High Bar Back Squats, across (Last week’s HBBS)

Our Tabata scoring was a little different this time. We took our highest reps from each exercise and added them up. I got 45. I did the 4x7 HBBS @ 83lbs (about 65% of my 1RM). I then did a little ring stability work.

    Yay for no shoulder pain!!!!!!!

Excellent on all counts! Today is my rest day, so I'm afraid I don't have anything to contribute today. Also, after having done Cindy, I must say I don't mind her much at all; guess we're in the same boat now, Kevie. :P

    2 Rounds for Time:
    Run 400 M
    6 Shoulder Press (135/95)
    Run 200 M
    10 Push Press (135/95)
    Run 100 M
    14 Push/Split Jerk (135/95)

The shoulder press is definitely the limiting factor for me here. I'm looking forward to one day RXing the weight in a workout like this. I could probably have done heavier on the push press and the push jerk, but 55# is definitely my limit for the shoulder press. Wah wah. I feel good about my time, though; 15:38, and that's because I'm such a wussy runner.
