April:19: My last big run and my longest so far. 14 Miles. Now I am into the taper. My knee held out and I managed some walking to get the lactic acid build up out of the legs.

Love it! After relocating four last year, I saw four on a log in the lake I put them back near and snapped a shot too. I pretended they were the ones I met. I was unsuccessful with one a few days ago - it was a snapping turtle with a big attitude that didn't want to move from the middle of the street, it was amazing to see him hop up and do a 180 when I tried to move him. After grabbing hold of my sneaker, I gave up. Happily, when I went back that way the next day I didn't see any signs of a squished turtle, so I'm assuming he took his cranky self back to the lake on his own.

I think I have died and went to heaven. We have had 70 degree weather and clear sunny skies for 5 days. Got to ride my road bike for 5 straight days, can I stand the strain!
