Best low carb book

I work for a doctor who is always bringing in diet books. The worst one so far was called "The Plan" or something like that...not good. So my idea is to bring in a low carb book but not just any book. It has to have the in depth science to back it. And nothing too dry it should have a lighter side as well. So any tips would be much appreciated.

You can't go wrong with any of the books on this list

I liked Taubes GCBC, but some say he is too critical. Also Nina Teicholz's "Big Fat Surprise" is very good. http://thebigfatsurprise.com/0
