Good Morning Ed...hope Dragon Con is shaping up to be a really fun weekend event!
Not much happening here today...gym...and I think I'll reverse the process, and go to Whole Foods, (heirloom tomatoes on sale
, and Honeydew on sale as well. Of course, you know I have to get at least 2 meals worth of chicken Fried Tofu while I'm there. ! Then I'll drop off my groceries and hit the gym! Let you know how this works!
Have watched walnuts become beef...(I've done this before, but walnuts and mushrooms/or walnuts with lentils. Both work)...and the cookie dough now, that was a hoot! I think I'll pass on that one!

2 weeks since Ted's mowed, and rain! He'll be here sometime over the weekend. Said he'd let me know when. I suspect I'll hear from him sometime today.

Yesterday turned out to be a 'different' day...in that it was not what I'd planned.
Went to Whole Foods, came home and by then it was 2p. and I was hungry, so I fixed a lunch, then I was sleepy...ok, nap, then gym. Woke to the strangest noise. Sounded like Tom E was having a block party on my roof!!!
Peeked out side, quickly..recognized the truck in my driveway...it was Antonio! He was here to replace the gutters after I'd sent him the video of the last daytime rain we had with water pouring over, and under, etc my gutters. I sent the video to Antonio with a message saying I've put this off too long....fix it for me? So he came by, measured guttering, and he said he'd get me a price the next day...my response? Just surprise me! I mean, what was the point. Had to be done........
So, Poor Tom E was frantic. Strangers, in the yard, on HIS roof, etc. I rescued him, and spent the next several hours holding a freaked out cat!
Never did get to the gym! Guess I'd best be going there today, right? Can't let you get all the exercise for the weekend! LOL!!

Today looks like a pretty good day. Upper 80's late day, but starting in the 60's is always good!
Ted on his way out to cut the grass, and ???? I never know what little 'project' he may also have in mind! LOL! I'm just grateful for the help. Actually I could do it...I just can't start the lawn mower. It has an electric starter, and the battery is apparently dead, and I can't even come close to pulling the cord. Must have one of the stiffest compression of any mower I've ever owned. (not that I'm not getting older, and not nearly as strong as I was even 10 years ago......

Looks to be a nice day, although quite warm, still. In another couple weeks we should be clear of the 90's!
I woke about 5:30 and sleep didn't seem to be an available option, so.... I'm about to finish my coffee, have eaten my breakfast, so it on with this day!!!
Not much on my 'list'..I did laundry yesterday, cooked myself a rather blah dinner, listenend to several pod casts and a docuseries or 2. Got roped into one that irritated me. Brain Health, started well, and about 20 minutes into the hour turned into a infomercial for a vitamin supplement. I was not happy. If you're selling something I'm not your kid! Tell me science, now what you manufacture and sell under the guise of health.
Off to fb, hope to see some DC pix?!!!?

Howdy. It's terrific Tuesday! Need to give Lilo her Tuesday shot (and the subsequent REQUIRED treats) and need to feed the cats. I also need to get more 1 ml syringes with needles as I will be using the last one on her today, so a trip to the vet is in order before next Tuesday. And I need to feed the brats...er CATS. We have out of town company (old friends) who fly back home tonight. They were at DragonCon but didn't need to stay downtown for last night, so stayed with us and we will be dropping them at the Marta station tonight so they can fly back to their waiting cats.
I will eventually get to posting the few con pics I took.

Howdy. It's wonderful Wednesday! Another hot one, and no chance of rain. I didn't take many pictures at DragonCon, as it was just too peopley for my social anxiety (part of general anxiety disorder in my case) and, while I did have my tranquilizers with me I prefer to only use them for more...real?...situations, and depend more on just my daily "let's not go bats*** crazy today" pill, as the tranquilizers can be addictive, and are not really intended, in my case anyway, for several times a day, general use. I can go for weeks without needing any, and then might need to take one or two in a day, in very stressful situations. Sometimes if it's not too bad, just knowing that I have them available can get me through slightly less major situations, without actually having to take one.
So... DragonCon. I DID see Elvis!

I want a NAP. But it will have to wait. First I need to get to the gym.
Spent the morning in Costco, Thought of Roger a few times. He'd have pulled his hair out! There was 2 groups of people with a 'person' giving them shopping tips...at least one of those groups was a local school small group...they had workbooks. AND that wasn't enough, right. A whole caravaan of SUV's picking up enough food to feed Cox's Army! I don't know what the event was going to be, and I didn't stop and stare, but there was a huge pallet of raw Broccoli in cartons. So just getting into the store was a bit of a hassle! Roger would have HATED it.
So, home, most everything put away... and I've eaten some lunch. So, all excuses aside, I now HAVE TO go that one mile to the gym. (I tried using the exercise part of my Apple Watch to record my shopping as 'exercise'.) That didn't work. It did count my steps, but it would have done that without me messing with the exercise part.. Well, I tried, right?

Howdy. It's sumptuous Sunday! Another hot one here, with no chance of precipitation. Fortunately, I DID get out yesterday and made multiple stops.
I hit PetSmart for cat food and litter, the vet for 1 ml syringes, with attached needles, for Lilo's Tuesday torture...er I mean tiny little shot (but you wouldn't think it from her), Kroger, for a few grocery items, and Taco Bell for a light, late, vegetarian lunch for J. I had already eaten. As I was bringing in groceries, the mail arrived. I couldn't have timed it better if I tried!
Of course the ever changing grocery list has grown a couple of items since I got home, but nothing that will force me to go out for it today.
