hi all I had a busy morning I got my walk in and 35 minutes on the treadmill . I am thinking about taking Annie for another walk. Roger my ns normally comes the next day. take care everyone. vix I hope you are starting to feel better
    Hi Irene
Congratulations on walking and Tread-milling, I would do one or the other being a little lazy.

I wonder why my NS comes the same day as the call and Your comes a day later, I am sure they both come out of the Pennsylvania Warehouse.

    Have a Good Day

Vix-I hope the vitamin C helps.
    Irene-congrats on finding money.
    Hi Roger.
When I came home from work today my street was blocked off and the gas company was at one end of the street. I went around the block and was able to get onto my street from the other end. I still don't know what they were doing.
I lost another lb. My total since starting back on NS is 13.2 lbs lost. It is slow going, but I don't mind as long as the lbs. keep coming off.
    Have a great evening. :)
    Hi Joanne
The gas company is likely either a service change or they detected a gas leak in the gas main or a home that needed the street to be closed. As long as nothing blows up and You could get home no biggy.

Hmm.. I wonder if it related to being proactive after all those houses blew up ?

The way I look at it anything in the one to two pound range lost is good.

    Congratulations on the loss.

    Good morning.
Raining here, started last night, supposed to rain through tomorrow. I caught a bit of a cold so good excuse to do next to nothing. :smirk: I picked up some vitamin C and a prescription for my feet last night.
Foot Doc gave me a foot splint to wear at night for plantar fasciitis, some exercises, and 5 days of prednisone. Achilles tendon also inflamed. I have a very angry body!
Jo, 13 pounds is wonderful...I'm still having a hard time trying to keep the scale from going up any more! I'm at the highest I've been in about 2 years.
Roger and Irene, congrats on all the walking.
Happy Weekend everyone. Take time to RELAX! :)

New Humor is about to be posted

    Hi
I'm back home from walking and no money was found. The Temperature out the door was 41 degrees, not that bad for this time of year. Yesterdays High was around 50 degrees. The rain that was forecast to be here through the night is still falling and as I was walking away from the house the wind was at my back, On the return leg it was in my face :(

    Hi Vix
That sounds like we are having today for weather :(

I see nothing wrong with doing nothing on an occasional basis

Did the doctor say what You caught that a prescription could help with ?

I looked up plantar fasciitis as I was not sure what it was, Ouch. I wonder if the Achilles tendon became inflamed due to walking funny to avoid the pain from the plantar fasciitis ?

Losing weight is hard, keeping it off is harder in my opinion, You may disagree.

13 pounds is a good loss by Joanne.

    Hi Irene
That is interesting I often get my call around 9AM, a couple of times somewhat later in the day, I wonder if they are changing their procedures ?

Lucky me, I was out early enough Saturday that I needed the rain Jacket, shortly after I returned home the rain ceased for the daylight hours :(
Today I wore the Rain Pants and Rain Jacket, When I do that I also wear a Visor or Baseball cap as that keeps the hood on the rain jacket from blocking most of my vision when I tie it to keep it on as I did today due to the wind.

    Have a Good Walk Today

Congratulations on the Pound Loss as Well as the 4 cents

    Good morning.
It rained here all day yesterday and through the night and continuing this a.m.
I didn't get a prescription for my cold, just the prednisone for the inflamation in my feet and tendons. I'm hoping the cold eases up in a few days...taking zinc and vitamin C. Maybe I'll add in some echinacea.
No plans yet for today. I'm going to take a nice hot epsom salt soak in the tub and see how I feel. I really need to go out and pick up some holiday gifts this week....online had a few backorder problems!

I'm back home from walking and no money was found. The Temperature out the door was 36 degrees. The rain did end on schedule leaving everything outdoors wet OTOH. I also had one Deer run across the street right in front of me and a minute later a second one ran up the street.

    Hello Irene
I decided to go the distance as long as the wind was not blowing the rain into my face. I was OK with the Baseball cap brim keeping the rain away from my face and the Rain hood Tied shut due to the wind.

Interesting, I had not realized those wall recliners had a name, Did You get one that also Swivels and rocks, I had one of those and loved it until it died, I killed it as at that point in time I was at my all time high weight, Being overweight costs more than just health issues and more expensive clothes.

I just looked to be sure I was remembering properly, In the Living Room I use a light to medium blue recliner and we have a chair the same color and my Brother uses a dark Blue recliner and the walls are light Blue, I'm sensing a theme here.

You are further south than I am the might be the difference I suppose, I think of myself as living in Northern Central Jersey.

Does Your order include any of the New Dinners, I am hoping for Feedback on them before I adjust my order.

    Have a Good Day

    Hi Vix
The rain did end by 8PM, I just did not look often to see exactly when

I take a Vitamin C, Zinc is part of a Three Mineral Supplment, Also a Multi Vitamin, D and L-Lysine currently. The last two are recent additions to see if the help with anything.

I see I got what the prescriptions were for way wrong. I hope they are helping.

We basically have two gifts to get likely locally, One for a neighbor for when She drops off her gift to us. Throughout the year we do give her some of the things my Brother bakes and some things from a Show he goes to. The Other is for a Friend, The one We had the Brunch with on Nov. 30.

Other than that I think we are done and I am done with mine, I just need to wrap a couple of them. I bought a Kidde Brand Fire extinguisher for the kitchen that I will tag as from Santa

    Good Luck with Your feet

    Hi Irene
I think what I dislike about walking in the rain is the extra noise that means I need to crank up the volume one what I am listening to. Between the wet road noise and the sound of the water drops hitting the Hood on the rain jacket color me unhappy for those reasons.

I am eagerly awaiting You report on the new dinners. I liked the Turkey Sausage & Bacon Rigatoni, Sweet & Sour Chicken, and the Ricotta Crepes Oh well the four frozen dinners are a decent replacement. They discontinued four dinners and added four. They seem to want to only have a certain total amount of foods.

Did You also get this email from NS about discontinued foods ?
    DEAR NUTRISYSTEM CUSTOMER,

We're contacting you to inform you of a change to a few of our menu items. Effecitve immediately, the following items are being discontinued: Turkey Sausage & Bacon Rigatoni, Tuscan Inspired Pasta, Baked Blueberry Oatmeal, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Ricotta Crepes and Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie.
    FOR YOUR NEXT ORDER:

If you included any of these items in your upcoming order and like the substitution we've listed below, DO NOTHING. We'll ship it to you with your order.
If there is another item you'd prefer instead of our substitution, simply change your order:
Log in to your account on Nutrisystem.com, select the Manage Next Order button, then select Change/Customize My Order. You can update your menu utilizing the green Customize buttons.

PLEASE NOTE: All order changes need to be completed by 6 p.m. EST the night before your NEXT order is scheduled to process.

    Discontinued Item Substitution
Turkey Sausage & Bacon Rigatoni by Chicken Pasta Parmesan
Tuscan Inspired Pasta by Pasta Fagioli
Baked Blueberry Oatmeal by Baked Banana & Chocolate Oatmeal
Sweet & Sour Chicken by Chicken Parmesan
    Ricotta Crepes by Margherita Pizza
Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie by Chocolate Cupcake

I tried and never ordered again the Oatmeals and the Chocolate Peanut Butter brownie was always to dry for my tastes. The Pasta dish being replace by a soup makes little sense to me FWIW.

    Hi all.
Cold still has the best of me. I went to stained glass and pottery anyway because I wanted to finish up some gifts. I finished 3 glass dove ornaments and picked up my pottery bird and ornament that was fired during the week. I burned a finger with the soldering iron, I'm a little off my game with this cold. Luckily there is an aloe plant in the room, so I broked off a piece and put the gel on my finger which helped a little. I have gifts to sort through and packages to wrap, and still have to figure out the rest of what I'm cooking for Friday night. At least it's only Tuesday! Hopefully this stupid cold will ease up.
    Happy Tuesday, everyone. Jingle bells!

    Have a great evening. :)
    Hi Joanne
    FWIW
I like the Cherry Cheese Roll breakfast, The Cinnamon Raisin Bagel is OK but smaller than the Honey Wheat Bagel, I also like the Breakfast Five Seed Roll it makes a nice change.

I have not tried the Egg White Spinach Crepe Lunch yet.

I just looked at the Dinner foods and I see 6 marked as new now.

I see more New Items in the Snacks too, Whee
I also like the Cinnamon Coffee Cake, I can't wait to try all the new foods. However I have to much in the freezer to move up my order date to this year

As You can see from my post to Irene, I had no waiting at the Post Office which really surprised me.

    Have a Nice Day

    Hi Vix
I'm sorry to hear that You still have the cold, Get Well Quickly.

The last burn I had was when I went to take something I was microwaving out of the M/W and steamed my finger. It was bad enough to hurt for several days and then the old skin has peeled and the new skin is OK.

I have a couple of things to wrap, maybe today or tomorrow, not that I'm procrastinating or anything like that

I'm sure You will figure out a menu before Friday

    Cheers
    Roger

    Good morning.
I think I wrapped all the presents last night that I have, and printed out pictures of the backordered items. Several of the items did not contain the gift receipts they were supposed to. Oh well.
I think I kept my husband up last night with my cold, so I got up early this a.m. and am sipping on hot tea with honey. May try and see a dr today to see if the cold needs some help to go away.
It's frosty out this morning. I will try to straighten up the house today a little. Cleaning lady is coming on Friday. I don't like to leave clutter.
    Happy Wednesday, everyone. :)

    I just posted more humor

    Hi
I'm back home from walking and no money was found. The Temperature out the door was 26 degrees. I am not liking the forecast for later today and Friday. Rain is supposed to move in this afternoon and be heavy through tomorrow and linger into early Saturday. Hopefully that forecast which I saw yesterday is wrong and the rain is not as bad as forecast.

    Hi Vix
Congratulations on getting the gifts wrapped, I have been procrastinating doing that. I have to Gifts coming that should be here before Christmas and that means I am done

I would never have thought of Pictures for delayed gifts, Clever. I never think of Gift Receipts :(

The Hot Tea with Honey should sooth the throat if nothing else.

I have a sneaky suspicion that there are some people out there that stop cleaning ahead of the Cleaning Service Visit, I could also be wrong.

Good Luck making the Cold Go Away.
