    Good evening;
Vix-I love your stained glass dove. I hope your tooth can be saved.
Roger-I have my living room lights hooked up to wireless remote. So much easier than having to get up and turn each individual light on and off.
    Irene-congrats on finding a nickel.
I went to the dentist after work to get my teeth cleaned, no cavities. :)
My NS came today. I just finished unpacking it and discovered 1 extra breakfast.
I also got a postcard in the mail from NS with a much lower priced than I am paying. I am going to call them and ask for the lower price.
    Have a good evening.
    Hi Joanne
As I think I mentioned I have a table lamp hooked up to one of wireless and I will be hooking up the Christmas tree lights to another. If I did not do that I would be scratching the heck out of myself reaching around and through the tree. I may hook up another table lamp to the third one, I have not decided yet. The Lights in the Window are on a switched outlet so that is no problem.

Yesterday the two CFL lights in the fixture over the sink that we leave on 24-7 to have some illumination on the ground floor had both burned out. I replaced them with on CFL and on LED. It seemed like a good way to be sure that the LED lights actually live up to their longevity claims. What seems to go bad on the CFL lights is the electronics in the base of them, Since I am sure that the LED lights need some sort of electronics I am wondering if they hold up.

    Congratulations on the Zero Cavities.

Every now and then I get a extra NS and other times I might be sort a item, So usually I do not complain about it as I figure it averages out.

Good Luck getting the Lower price

    Hi all.
Thanks....I really like working with stained glass. :)
Roger, I told hubby about the wireless remote and he just ordered some for outdoors for our lights, so he doesn't have to go outside to switch them off.
Irene, cool about money found walking.
    Jo, yay for no cavities.
I hope I can save my tooth.
Also made an appt for next week with a podiatrist...my heels are killing me. Wish I was in better shape!
Went for a walk in the park today, my new hiking boots are nice. :)
Hope everyone has a good evening. Sleep well.

I'm back home from walking and not one penny was found. The Temperature out the door was 33 degrees and there was a light breeze that did not make the walking uncomfortable.

    Hello Irene
I am sorry to hear that Your shoulder is hurt, I do know what You mean, I did that a couple of years ago and it took awhile since I avoided going to the doctor. I hope the heat on the shoulder helps.

From what I saw You got lucky as far as the snow in Your area.

    Hi Vix
I am happy with the remotes for the lights, they really are convenient. I think I will put one on the table lamp with the 150 watt bulb. The other table lamp in the living room had a 60 watt equivalent CFL in it and that is OK for my Brother since it is next to his chair, The other one is next to mine.

When I was working the last job one of my regular customers was so happy he had bought custom made shoes, he did walk much better afterwards. I gather they were not cheap but life is to short to live with foot pain that can be cured with something so simple as shoes that a foot doctor prescribed.

Hopefully the new hiking boots cure the problem and You do not need to go for custom designed shoes.

    Good Luck

    I am happy. :)
Vix-A few years ago my heels started hurting me. I went to the podiatrist and he suggested that I wear shoes with a slight heel. I have been buying Clark's and have not had any problem since. My feet will start to hurt if I wear flats or sneakers for more than 2 days in a row.
Irene-I hope you shoulder feels better soon.

    Hi Irene
I would think that for Alexa to do that the devices must be Internet connected ? And possibly in the case of the lights extra hardware that Alexa can control. TBH I can not think of any reason we would have a use for something like Alexa, add to that my brother not wanting anything that can hear or see in the house and no Alexa or Amazon Firestick.

Hi Roger- I was paying $359. I got a postcard in the mail for $249 on first order and $269 on subsequent orders with auto delivery. When I called them the first person I spoke to said I couldn't change. I would have to cancel and resign up. I was transferred to another line to cancel.
I explained what I wanted. She put me on hold while she talked with her supervisor. When she came back on the line she quoted me a price of $256.99 on all future orders with auto delivery. She was super helpful and also gave me a few tips on how to rev up my metabolism.
    I was super happy. :)

    Hi Irene
For myself once I found a model of New Balance pair of shoes that fit good from the start and until they are worn out I have been buying the exact model of them.

I was just looking at my upcoming order and I found 4 different frozen Dinners That look delicious. They would be Chicken Marsala, Creamy Chicken Broccoli Pasta, Four Cheese Manicotti, and Mac and Cheese.

Today was a nicer day except that the clouds obscured the sky. That may mean that it will be a somewhat gloomy day today.

Congratulations on the walk and Exercise

    Hi
I'm back home from walking and no money was found. The Temperature out the door was 23 degrees. Sunday here was gray and clouded over and the only way it could have looked worse outdoors would be if it had rained.

At 8:30AM the new kitchen floor is scheduled to be installed. I am hoping it is not super disruptive to my staying 100% NS for the mid day meal. If it is going to run later than that I may have to have some sort of takeout food or go hungry. Staying 100% for the last few days and turning down temptation has let me lose some weight
Naturally either my brother of myself will need to be home while the installation is going on. I let my brother decide what is going on the floor and he wanted something that no water could get through as well as being economical thus for now at least Linoleum, Congoleum as I remember,

I really wish I could sleep in, Around 3:30 to 4AM I wake up and fail to get back to sleep :(

Those new foods looked so good I added 4 of each A La Carte to my upcoming order in January. I would move the order up to be able try them, However the Freezer would not have the room until I eat more of the food that is in it.

Interesting that You needed to have two showers to accommodate everyone. Ginger Ale is my main use of Ginger's taste, There is 1/4 cup candied ginger used in the Fruitcakes my brother makes. However I am sure that the ones you made being Ginger Butter cookies will be tasty.

We had the same sort of weather Sunday, I kept looking out the window and thinking Yuck.

    Hi Joanne
I drink some water before walking mainly to wash the taste of the snack I eat before walking out of my mouth, that is followed with a 30 ounce refill of coffee that is half regular and half decaf coffee. I always have 1 liter bottles of water in the refrigerator we go through around a 24 pack case a week of the water.

    Good morning.
Roger, I use crystalized ginger in the cookie recipe. They are good, not too sweet.
Irene, I feel the same about geting my eating under control! This time of year is so hard, and extra parties this year for me.
Jo, thanks for the info. on the metabolism boosters.
    The party was nice yesterday.
I have a massage and the endodontist scheduled for today. Yay for the massage. Wish me luck at the endodontist...hoping to save my tooth.
    Happy Monday, everyone. :)
