    Hello Irene
You were colder than I, Even at the 26 degree temperatures I need my Heated Mittens or my fingers get painfully cold. The Body and head is OK but the darn hands :(

Congratulations on getting out at that temperature, I bet it hurt to breathe to deeply.

Roger, yes, miss them both. We had more snow yesterday than forecast...it pretty much snowed all day lightly and left about 3 inches. It was light enough to push off, but there was ice underneath left where people had walked on the previous snow. It's currently up to 22 degrees(from 14 earlier) and should be up in the 30s this afternoon. Will probably try for a walk later.
Irene, do you have something to put on your face when it's that cold?
Hi Jo...how's the weather up there? Hope it's not too much colder.
Not much planned for today. It is sunny so far, that's good. :)
    Happy Saturday, everyone.
They say Puxsatawny Phil did not see his shadow today...Spring soon, but our local little groundhog buddies did....beautifully sunny here!

    Hello Vix
The TV reports yesterday said that Punxsutawney Phil has a 40% accuracy rate at predicting the weather

Those type of footprints are why when we shovel we try and do it before the postman delivers for example and shovel ahead so as to do a better job. We do get a few warm days now before anything moves in, Possible Rain Thursday and maybe Friday according to the forecasts. Possibility of a high of 60 in parts of NJ according to News12 the Cable news channel before the temperatures start trending down.

I have a scarf I could wrap around my face, I do not bother since that would make it impossible to drink the coffee while out and about, and The cold air makes my nose run. I tried it and the results were not good.

    Have a Good Day

    Good morning.
We walked in the park yesterday. It was snowy, and slippery in a couple of spots, but mostly it was a nice walk. The sun was out and there wasn't much wind. It's about 30 here now and supposed to go up to 50 today. The snow and ice is all melted off our sidewalks. We get a lot of sun in the front of our house.

It has been cold here and no snow.

    Hi
I'm back home from walking and for once money was found, 2 shiny 5 Nickels . The Temperature out the door was 30 degrees. Sunday here in NJ most of the state was around 50 degrees with a reported 60 degrees in Trenton the state capital.
We are headed into a short stretch of nice weather and above average temperatures here in NJ, Whee.

There was a coupon in the ShopRite circular for 80% lean Ground Beef in the family size package for $1.99. According to the Meat department person my Brother talked to they are having trouble keeping up with the demand. My brother had to wait in line to get a package and when he got one off of the newest tray and turned back from putting it in the cart there was only one left. They Grind 80 pounds at a time and package it in 3 pound packages. The one he picked up is already in the oven baking after having been formed into Hamburger Patties. I may run out Tuesday and use a second coupon on the key tag I use and get another one for the freezer being somewhat of a cheapskate. Also a Coupon for $2.99 one pound package of Oscar Mayer bacon, A good price too.

The slippery part is the worst of winter weather, You can dress for the cold but for the slippery ?

There is no way I would go to Mexico, I remember many years ago my Aunt that lived a ways south of Los Angeles cautioning me against going to Tijuana when I was out there on vacation and that was a fair amount of years ago, I doubt that it has gotten better.

I like the sun doing the snow removal as long the surfaces dry off too.

    Hi Irene
That was some distance You walked, 7 miles, Yikes.

Have a Good day today. I am only guessing that Your weather was similar to mine. Bad news about the Gas tax going up again, I suspect that will be a yearly occurrence what with the fact that a the price per gallon of gas goes up the amount of driving will decrease leading to a drop in tax revenue and that will be for a while until the mileage driven can be lowered further.

    Thanks

    Have a Good Day

good morning, we walked and the rain was gone before our walk. I did do 24 minutes on the treadmill the day off did good . nothing really planned I need to go to the acme for a few things but I plan on staying home except for our afternoon walk. As far as all the adds I try and skip them if I can we dvr so many of our shows that I don't watch many adds. take care everyone. hey vix do you sale any of your stain glass?
    Hi Irene
Thursday I missed the rain by long enough that things were not dripping. Not so today and then it started up again before I got home. IMO the weatherman got the forecast slightly wrong as to the when. I like the Acme for the lack of crowding compared to the ShopRite much of the time, I will go there even if their prices are a bit higher. Saving money does not always beat being able to enjoy the time in the store, I get parked much closer. The one thing I am not a fan of is that they have more self serve checkouts compared to real cashiers. Same Reason I prefer Lowes vs Home Depot.

I rarely watch things live for many years, DVRs are the way, an exception would be things like the State Of the Union address this week.

    Have a Nice Day
