    Good morning.
Safe travels, Irene. Would be great if the dealer can fix both at the same time.
Roger, glad you're starting to feel better. Hope the next procedures are smooth sailing.
This getting old stuff has its drawbacks. :disappointed: It's good that you and your brother are close and can live together. :)
Jo, poor Sophie, hope she feels better soon.
I'm going to continue to look for dresses, but at least I know I have one I can wear if I find nothing better. I was happy they fit (except for having to be shortened).
Rainy, high of 70 today, t-storms expected later. No special plans for today. Maybe some grocery shopping...out of salad again.
    Happy Friday, everyone. :)
    Hello Vix
I agree, getting old is no fun. I would be in trouble if he were not here. He will be doing the shopping and since they say have a driver for Tuesday....

When I buy long pants they always need to be shortened, I must have short legs ?

Thunderstorm rolled through Friday afternoon with heavy rain, the rest of the day was off and on rain.

Jo, glad you can go back to your local store.
    Safe travels, Irene. Condolences.
Roger, hope you're resting up. And soon to be feeling better.
A little cooler today, sunny and windy. Only expected high of 65.
I'm going for my 2nd shingles shot this a.m., stopping off at the library, and whatever else comes along.
    Happy Saturday, everyone. :)
Cool, sunny and breezy here also. Darned lawn is growing like the weed it is, My brother just mowed the other day and it is looking ragged already.

Roger-I am glad that you are feeling better every day. I am keeping good thoughts that the next procedure goes off without a hitch. Did the doctor say no walking? I would think short walks would be good for you to get your strength back. Congrats on finding 11 cents.
Irene-safe travels and again my condolences.
Vix-good luck on the dress hunt.
Today is work and after work, grocery shopping. I am happy to be going back to my local store.

    Hi
Some rain in the forecast for later today and chances of rain throughout the week along with cool temperatures.

I found a nickel in the mailbox yesterday, It was attached to a mailing from the sierra club trying to get me to join. I seem to have ended up on all kinds of wildlife organizations mailing lists :(

    More humor shortly

    Hi
Some chances of rain throughout the week. This morning it is 37 degrees outside and I do have the heat turned back on. It is a nice enough looking day especially compared to the weekend.

I plan to create a print list today for my brother just in case of future need. No telling what tomorrows test results will be. I am unhappy with the No food or liquids after midnight tonight, Not even water. That makes me wonder if I will be anesthetized Tuesday morning. It did not really come as a need when the doctor sent me to the ER as I had not eaten since the day before.

    Second Try :(

Yesterday the rain started with a light drizzle by 10AM.
I knew it was expanding, what was new was that it seems to be expanding faster than the scientists predicted.

When they measured my height at the hospital it was an inch shorter than what I used to be, They do say we get shorter as we age.

    Hi
Some chances of rain throughout the week. Last night at 10PM it was 50 degrees and this morning it is still 50 degrees outside and I do have the heat turned back on. There is fog in the area, where the hospital is has a reported visibility of 1.5 miles.

I should be heading out the door sometime after 8AM. The Outpatient test is scheduled for 10:30 with a arrive there a 1.5 hour early and due to the rush hour a anticipated drive of around 30 minutes.
Just in case I have created a contact list and my brother knows where it is.

Well so far so good, I was in the outpatient reception before 9AM and they released me at 3PM, Add in the time to get dressed and be wheeled out the door it was around 3:30 before my brother drove me home. If and I say since it isn't happening I was going to run a marathon after leaving the hospital they would still put me in a wheel chair to the door of the truck.

I should get the results tomorrow, Thursday.

I hope Your day went well.

    Hello Joanne
I hope the results are good too, Time will tell.

A smaller car, and here I thought You liked what You had
My leaning is for the same or maybe larger in the next car. The bigger problem is that I want a Car, not a SUV, Crossover whatever they are, a van or a pickup truck. Then it needs to openable and started with a real key, no start button. If I had to get a car with one of those key fobs that do IMO to much the car has to work easily with the batteries out of the key fob.
And no WiFi and other useless IMO features.
BTW I am torn between some of the automation features being useful or not. Things that can help avoid an accident are OK, Self driving I'm not so sure.

    Oh well rant over.

    Enjoy Your new car.

    Hello Again
I had a feeling that there might be a mess, I am still sorry to hear that it is a mess. Reuse the much, Why not it is paid for.

Since I never had a backup camera I am not sure how much help they really are. Couldn't the dealer supply a loaner ?

So both of You have caught something, What a shame.

In case You or the others are curious

The hospital food was OK. Once they let me eat solids  They have people that visit the rooms and take the meal orders from a selection. What was semi annoying was the there seemed to be no predictable time it was delivered, sometimes early and sometime a bit late.
I broke down and tried the Mashed potatoes and gravy and I was somewhat surprised that the potatoes were not instant.

    One Menu I ordered
2 pats of butter, for the potatoes.
4 oz. Rice Pudding, Kozy Shack brand
    8 oz. Chicken Noodle Soup
8 oz. Coffee with creamer, Fake Cream, Yuck
    4 oz. Chicken Marsala
    1/2 Cup Green beans
4 oz. Mashed potatoes with gravy.
    1 slice orange slice.

So not to bad. Friday 4-19s dinner.

    Have a Good Day

    Hi
Some chances of rain today. It is 52degrees outside and I turned the heat on to take the chill off of the rooms. Despite that I had my test Tuesday in the outpatient section of the hospital, I still do not have the results. Is that good or bad, I do not know. I shall call the doctors office again, when I called yesterday I was told I should get a phone call later that day.
