    Good morning;

    It is currently 65F with a high of 90F. I had my AC turned off for a few days and opened all my windows. Last night I had to turn it on again in anticipation of the coming heat wave. Irene-good luck with your orthopedic appt. I have to bring my car in for service this morning and this afternoon I have an appt. with Anderson windows for an estimate on replacing my windows. I also have the usual house cleaning and laundry. Have a great day.๐Ÿ˜€

    Howdy all y'all. It's marvelous Monday!

    Hope you can get your back to feeling better, Irene!

    We have 23C partly cloudy degrees with "showers in the vicinity" that clearly include the few random rain drops that I heard hitting the cover of the stove vent. The forecast for the day calls for rain showers early with scattered thunderstorms arriving for the afternoon. High 27C. Winds E at 10 to 15 km/h. Chance of rain 90%. For the night, cloudy with occasional rain showers. Low 22C. Winds ESE at 10 to 15 km/h. Chance of rain 50%.

    Supper last night was loaded mashed potatoes. Breakfast was a farmhouse scramble breakfast bowl, a gluten free toaster pastry (Apple Crisp flavor) and pineapple juice.

    Hope you can get your back to feeling better, Irene!

    I need to get my exercising done and get to work.

    Good afternoon;

    It is currently 89F and sunny. Vix-have a good craft day. Hi Ed and Irene. Boy, are windows expensive. We got the estimate and decided to go ahead with the project. We now have a Concierge who will be our point of contact through to the end of the project. We also have a project manager who will be coming Thurs. 21st to take the final measurements. After that the windows will be made and should be installed hopefully by October. Enjoy your day.๐Ÿ˜€

    Jo, everything is expensive. It's nice to get new windows. We had done that in our old house, and it was so much better. Good insulation and they folded in for cleaning. Hi Ed and Irene.

    Howdy all y'all. It's wonderful Wednesday!

    We have 24C partly cloudy degrees. The forecast for the day calls for mixed clouds and sun this morning. Scattered thunderstorms developing this afternoon. High 31C. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 50%. For the night, an isolated thunderstorm possible this evening, then occasional showers overnight. Low 22C. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 40%.

    Work has already begun. My home computer and work computer both had updates this morning so that is mostly what has been happening so far. Now that the updates and reboots are all finished, I can move on with my day.

    Supper last night was taco salad. Breakfast was a meat lovers breakfast bowl and pineapple juice to drink, extra bacon on the side.

    I still need to do my few angle pushups and a little bit of dynamic tension for the lower arms.

    We no longer seem to get the weekly scam of the week alerts at work so I haven't had any to post lately.

    Howdy all y'all. It's thrilling Thursday!

    We have 24C cloudy degrees. The forecast for the day calls for sunshine and clouds mixed. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. High 32C. Winds WNW at 10 to 15 km/h. 15% chance of precipitation. For the night, partly cloudy. Low 22C. Winds light and variable. 14% chance of precipitation.

    Jason replaced his 20 year old car yesterday, with a new electric Hyundai. Afterward, we went out to dinner at a nearby Mexican restaurant. I had huevos rancheros. Technically it's only on the lunch menu, but they made it for me anyway, ringing it up as an "open menu" item. That was very nice of them. I enjoyed my dinner.

    Breakfast this morning was the last two boiled eggs from the refrigerator, with bacon and some toasted gluten free bread with butter and triple berry jam.

    Work and my exercises both beckon.

    Howdy all y'all. It's fabulous Friday!

    We have 23C sunny degrees with a forecast for the day calling for sunshine this morning. Scattered thunderstorms developing this afternoon. Hot. High 34C. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 50%. For the night, partly to mostly cloudy skies with scattered thunderstorms during the evening. Low 22C. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 50%.

    Dinner last night was pizza from the freezer. Breakfast this morning was a meat lovers breakfast bowl, some buttered toast, and extra bacon on the side. Pineapple was the juice of the day. My leftover pizza will be lunch.

    I'm enjoying my tea now. I still need to do my morning exercises.

    The dishwasher is running and work beckons shortly.

    I have a ticket to a drag variety show and revue at a small theater in a nearby town for tonight. It is a benefit for a chimpanzee sanctuary somewhere in Georgia. Even if I don't make it, the ticket price will still benefit the sanctuary.

Irene-we had thunder storms last night also. It is currently 78F and there is a nice breeze. I opened all the windows to air the house out. I think it gets a little stuffy when everything is closed up and the AC is on. I worked this morning for a few house and then ran errands. I am now doing laundry. Have a good afternoon.๐Ÿ˜€

    Ed, I hope you enjoyed the show if you went. Always good to help out animal sanctuaries. Hi Irene. Jo, you get so much done, as always. My hip may need to be replaced. I am seeing an orthopedist for an evaluation on Monday, but the one my rheumatologist recommended will see me in November. Seems like a long time to wait. Oh well.

    It's 73F,23C, very humid. Cloudy skies early, then partly cloudy this afternoon. High 89F,32C. Winds light and variable. Ran some errands yesterday. Howdy all y'all. It's sensational Saturday!

    We have 25C fair, mostly sunny degrees (feels like 29) with a daily forecast calling for mostly sunny early then increasing clouds with some scattered thunderstorms this afternoon. High 32C. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 40%. For the night, a stray shower or thunderstorm is possible early. Partly cloudy skies. Low 21C. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 15%.

    I did get to the show. It was great! I bought a small glittery banana pin ($8.00) to support the chimps, and 12 dollars in "banana bucks" to tip. All the tips went to the sanctuary as well as all the proceeds for the show. The sanctuary hosts 101 retired medical research chimps, as that sort of testing is no longer done on them.

    I had a small glass of wine, a small bag of nacho cheese Doritos, and a cup of coffee during the show. I think that may have been the only money the theater actually made from this, as I am pretty sure they donated the venue for the two nights of the show, which used the set for the theaters upcoming presentation, which was advertised during the drag show. Everyone had a good time

    Prior to leaving for the show, my dinner was a bun sized chicken sausage, in a bun, with some potato salad and a couple of gluten free sandwich cookies. Breakfast this morning was bacon, maple brown sugar oatmeal, and some buttered toast.

    We have a spa outing this afternoon, to another that we haven't been to. There are 4 Korean spas in the nearby town, and this will be the third one to try. The first was clearly old, and somewhat showing its age, but we liked it well enough. The second was newer, and very nice, but most of the dry spas were small occupancy, with no benches, and had nothing to help you get up off the floor mats. Assistance bars on the wall might have been nice. All the same it is the one we like the most, so far. It also has a large children's play area, and infrared treatment areas, and a "rest" area with heated stone benches to relax on and perhaps nap. We only saw one toddler, and one baby there, but there were a few people that I took to be upper teens. No one was playing in the play area.

    Today's spa, we haven't been to, but have heard mixed reviews. The fourth spa, that we may not go to, has some pretty sketchy reviews. We'll have to keep that one in reserve for now, and see if reviews improve.

    I'm late with breakfast for the cats. I'm surprised they aren't nibbling on me to remind me!

    Good morning;

    Ed-glad you had a good time at the show and supported a good cause. Vix-have fun at the sewing workshop. I do not like to sew. I have started to knit some cotton dish cloths. I can do a few rows at a time before my shoulder starts to ache. It will probably take me a week to finish one.๐Ÿคฃ It is currently 81F and sunny. There is a nice breeze. I don't think we are due for any rain until the middle of next week. This morning I scrubbed the algae from the bird bath, repositioned the soaker hose around the new shrubs and added a timer, so I don't have to go out and turn the water off and on. The rest of the day is free and I am sure I will find something to do. Enjoy your weekend.๐Ÿ˜€

    good morning

    Ed, glad you enjoyed the show. I would like the banana pin too! Need to give those hard working chimps a nice retirement. How fun to be checking out the local spas. Irene, hope all is well. Jo, I don't do much sewing anymore. I like to knit occasionally, but I have trouble with my hands and fingers going tingly, so I understand your shoulder issue. I was totally out of my element at the sewing demo. The group was mostly quilters, and they were teaching and demoing how to use very expensive Husqvarna and Pfaff sewing machines. I think I was the only person there who didn't have one. They are amazing machines and do everything, all automated, embroidery, quilting, instructions, automated settings, videos included on how to do things. It was in a sewing store and they were giving great discounts on these machines(the prices are going up!), but I'm a casual sewer, not about to spend $11,999 for a $25,000 machine or $3000 for a serger. I think the least expensive embroidery machine was $7000. Yikes!

    It's 73F, 23C. Partial cloudiness early, with scattered showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon. Hot. High 94F, 34C.๐Ÿฅต๐Ÿฅต๐Ÿฅต Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40%. Will see what today brings. Wishing all a peaceful Sunday. Stay cool. โ˜๏ธโ›…๐ŸŒ‚๐ŸŒป๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Ž

    Howdy all y'all. It's sumptuous Sunday!

    We have 24C sunny degrees with a daily forecast calling for sunny to partly cloudy. High 33C. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 13%. For the night, some clouds this evening will give way to mainly clear skies overnight. Low 22C. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 13%.

    Groceries on the agenda today. That may be all. The spa was very nice. There was an associated nail salon, and Jason decided to get a manicure and pedicure. I think we like this latest spa the best, overall. We had lunch in the restaurant but I made the mistake of eating the red sauce that came with my bibim bap, and should have researched that. The sauce that comes with it usually has wheat, which I didn't realize until I started having symptoms later in the day.

    One of our friends overheated at the spa. Some Russians helped us get him over it at the spa. Then I drove him, in his car, back to the hotel where he was staying, and Jason and another friend followed. We got him checked in then the four of us went to Applebee's for dinner. The dinner engagement was partly to really make sure that he had recovered from the incident at the spa, but also to spend more time with him just because.

    Then we came back home. By this time I was really feeling the wheat from lunch and needed to be home.

    Anyway, I'm late again with feeding the cats their breakfast so best get to it!

    It's 68F,20C. Had some wind and rain last night. Overcast. High 74F, 23C. Winds NE at 5 to 10 mph. I'm glad it's cooler! We visited our son and family yesterday morning. Maddie is adorable. She's talking more now, actually calls us grandma and grandpa ( more like ga'ma and ga'pa) so cute! And she's still running around like a little whirlwind on her toes. We were on the back porch when she looked outside and said "deer"! Sure enough there was a mama and baby deer in the yard. I brought some bubbles, which she loves and we played outside for a while. She likes her swing set, swinging and sliding. I have an appointment with an orthopedic Dr. this afternoon for an evaluation. Wish me luck. It's Monday again. Lunch yesterday was at Panera Bread. The only gluten free soup was the Mexican Street Corn Chowder, which was delicious, and my salad was the Fuji Apple Chicken Salad, which, by default, has no croutons. It was also delicious. Jason had tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich.

    Dinner last night was gluten free, vegan quiche with tater tots on the side. It didn't really taste like quiche, but wasn't bad. I probably won't buy it again.

    For breakfast this morning, an apple crisp flavor Katz brand gluten free toaster pastry, and a farmhouse scramble breakfast bowl. Orange juice to drink.

    good morning

    Ed, sounds like all is well. Hi Jo and Irene.

    It rained overnight. It's 65F,18C. Cloudy this morning with showers during the afternoon. High 83F, 28C. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 40%. I had a cup and small bowl I took out of the kiln yesterday, but the glaze was old and they didn't look good, so I added more glaze and will refire them. I worked on finishing a few raw clay pieces so they can be bisque fired next time. I finished up 3 suncatchers in glass. I'm going to exercise, do some laundry, then hopefully get out later today. Wishing all a happy ๐Ÿชday! ๐ŸŒ‚โ˜๏ธ๐ŸŒป๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ
