Howdy all y'all. It's marvelous Monday!
We have 23 (Celsius) sunny degrees with an expected partly cloudy high of 34 and 24% chance of precipitation.
Supper last night was at BurgerFi, where they messed up both of our orders and had to re-make his veggie burger. For mine, I just threw the bun away (with some of my toppings stuck to it) and made do. It was supposed to be lettuce wrapped. And since they had initially provided him with a beef burger, ate that one too. This is the first time they ever messed up both orders, and it's rare for BurgerFi to mess up on either order. They must have been having a bad night in the kitchen.
Breakfast this morning was waffles and a couple of boiled eggs, with orange juice to drink.
I still need to get some laundry going.
Work beckons.

Ed, I've never heard of BurgerFi, probably not around here, but I rarely go to fast food places.
It's currently 82F, 28C. Sunny. Near record high temperatures. High 98F,37C. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph.🥵 Extreme heat warning. Went to TJMaxx yesterday looking for a light weight summer purse, didn't find one I liked, but came home with 2 nice sleeveless blouses. 😊 Our housecleaner is coming today, and I have a PT appt this morning. Need to stop and pick up a few things on the way home. Not planning anything else but to stay in the AC! Wishing all a bright shiny new week. Keep cool! 🌞🌟🤞🏻🕊️😎

Don't Make This Smish-take
In this week’s scam, you receive an unexpected text message that makes it appear that someone is trying to log in to your email or social media account. The message contains a multi-factor authentication (MFA) code and what appears to be a customer support number for you to call if you did not request the code. These types of codes are usually only sent to you when you are logging in to an account. If you receive one unexpectedly, it might make you think an unauthorized person is trying to access your account.
The message may seem legitimate, but this is actually a text message phishing attack (smishing). It was sent by a cybercriminal, and the phone number provided in the text message won’t actually connect you with a customer support team. If you call the number, your call will be answered by a cybercriminal. They will request that you provide them with your user credentials or other personal information so that they can steal your account!
Follow these tips to avoid falling victim to a smishing scam:
Be suspicious of unexpected text messages, especially if they seem urgent.
Be wary of messages from strange phone numbers you don’t recognise. If you need to contact customer support for one of your accounts or services, always use the contact information listed on their official website.
Remember that scammers often use alarming language to try to trick you into acting impulsively. Always stop and think before you click!

Good morning,
It is currently 84F with a high of 93F and sunny. Tomorrow is predicted to be 103F. I haven't heard of BurgerFi either. I went to Kohl's this morning and came home with nothing. They didn't have a very big selection of women's clothing. Tomorrow I may try Old Navy. I just want a couple pairs of shorts to wear around the house and out in the yard. Ed, thanks for the continuing scam alerts. Jo, I don't wear shorts, but I found a couple of pair of light cotton pants with stretchy waistband at Walmart for wearing around the house or for errands in this heat. They also had some shorts. Comfortable and inexpensive. I didn't find anything at Kohl's either. Irene, I hope you're getting to use your pool!
It's currently 75F, 24C. The sky was a pretty peach color at sunrise this a.m. Plentiful sunshine. Near record high temperatures. High 98F, 37C.🥵 Winds light and variable. I got a tick bite over the weekend, ( alcohol, hot soapy shower, antibiotic ointment with a band aid Sunday a.m. when I found it). I went to my Dr. yesterday. It looks clean, he gave me a one dose antibiotic as a prophylactic and I'll get a blood test next week. Had my last PT session for a while yesterday and a new sheet of exercises for home. We have 25 (Celsius) sunny degrees with an expected partly cloudy high of 36 and 12% chance of precipitation.
Hopefully I won't have to get out in it!
Supper last night was some Indian food, I reconstituted some of the Paneer Tikka Masala and heated some ready made Coconut, chickpea and turmeric curry, and served with Basmati rice.
Breakfast this morning was two boiled eggs, some chicken tenders, and Greek yogurt with raspberry granola. Pineapple juice to drink.
Work is already in progress so back to it.

Good afternoon,
It is a hot one. Current temp is 98F. I ran an errand a little while ago and the temp in my car was 107. Vix-I hope your blood test comes back negative. Thanks,I will try Walmart for shorts. Other than work this morning I haven't done much. I have laundry to do but keep putting it off. Stay cool and hydrated.😀
