Good morning.
Isolated t-storms and a high of 86 today.
Wow...pool already, Irene...good for you.
Big cash find, Jo! The trellis sounds pretty, and functional. We have 2 trellises with clematis, one on the side of the house and one in back...they are doing really well so far this year.
Hi Roger! Good luck with your appt tomorrow.
I have acupuncture this morning, family time in the afternoon, and then packing.
I may or may not check in this week. The weather's a little cooler there, but I'm fine with that.
Have a great week everyone, happy Memorial day. Have a wonderful visit, Jo.

Hi
It is 68 degrees outside, The forecast is for today's high to be in the upper 80s
There was a heavy rain around 10:30 PM and again some rain around 3:15 AM. I did not sleep well last night. I splurged on a Calzone and slices of Pizza. I ate half the Calzone and my brother had the other half for dinner. It had been many years since I had a Calzone. The starches are why I did not sleep well.

Good morning.
We had t-storms last night. Babysitting was fun. He didn't seem to even notice the thunder and lightning.
It's 64 at the moment, cloudy, expected high of 89!!! and possible t-storms in the p.m.
No special plans for today. Maybe some cleaning and starting to get ready for our trip. I looked up a lot of stuff yesterday. There is plenty to do there.
Happy Sunday, everyone.
That must have helped, I could see where some babies might get freaked by Thunder ?
It is too early IMO for these types of temperatures. Heat Go Away I do no want YouGood morning.

We had rain yesterday afternoon and overnight. Today is a mixture of sun and clouds with a high of 82. I am going to try once again to get my flower beds weeded.
Yesterday I found 4 one dollar bills and 1 cent. This is my biggest find so far.
I bought a new iron trellis and hubby attached it to the deck, so my clematis would have a place to climb and it also gives us some privacy.
Roger-I either Skype or Facetime with my son. We planned our trip back in December. We bought our plane tickets and booked our hotels. We have also been planning things to do over there since December.
Irene-I am glad you liked the Vet and a discount too, win-win.
Vix-Again, have a wonderful time!
House cleaning today and as mentioned above, yard work.
Enjoy your day!
Skype I know, In general I know very little about social media, This is a close as I get to social media.
Weeds, Yuck. At least they should pull easy after that rain.
Congratulations on finding that much money
House and yard work, some of my least favorite tasks.
A iron trellis, heavy ? I would likely have looked for a nice Cedar trellis. Privacy is always a good thing.
Have a Nice Day

Hi
Last night at 10 PM it was still 80 degrees, currently It is 53 degrees outside.
I may be brief today and tomorrow due to time constraints
The outcome of the doctor visit was not good news. I seem to have what the doctor described as a Cholangiocarcinoma that needs surgery. That means removal of part of the Liver. I suppose it could have been worse if undiscovered for a longer period of time. This morning I will be out of here early for the first of two preop tests. Today is a Nuclear Stress test and I need to schedule another cat scan when I get home. In approximately two weeks I should be scheduled and have the surgery then 7 days recovery in the hospital. If anything should occur during this period look for a email from my brother with a subject somewhat along the lines, Update from Roger's brother.
Wish me Luck

Hi
Currently It is 61 degrees outside. We had some light rain overnight and a possibility of Severe weather for the late afternoon into the evening.
I feel sorry for my brother TBH, He has been running me around and has to do all the mowing and other yard work. In some ways this may be harder on him than on me as of today.
Yesterday I got the OK from the Cardiologist for surgery and Friday I go for the Catscan wanted before hand and then I can call the scheduler to setup the surgery.

Would You believe that I forgot to ask about those. I am guessing yes, but that is only a guess.
Just like I forgot to ask if they used a mesh in the hernia repair since the lawsuits regarding them are all over the TV. I suspect not, what doctor would want to open a potential liability by using a mesh.

Irene-That was scary for you and Annie. I glad she was not hurt.
Vix-I hope you are having a wonderful time!
Roger-I heard about the man's house being cleaned on the news. The article on the Brits working a 9 hour week, how will they be able to eat and keep a roof over their head?
Nothing much doing today, just getting things together for our trip.

I don't think the save the planet types care about keeping a roof over peoples heads. I will go further and speculate that they might think it is a benefit if You can't heat or cool Your house and not be able to have meat on the table. Once again I could be wrong, OTOH many of the Save the planet green types do not seemed bothered when they fly everywhere or use big cars so....

I just finished of the leftover coffee from what my brother brewed yesterday and put in a Yeti Thermos for me.
I can understand cutting the walk short and going home to check things out. Not the best day for no power for 5 hours either. The weather has been very good for growing grass, As a result the front lawn is starting to look a little ragged despite being mowed not that far back
No one could live comfortably on a 9 hour week paycheck. The only way I could see it would be if the Government provided free housing, Power and food.
