    Good morning;
Roger-We leave tomorrow morning. According to the weather forecast it should be in the high 60-low 70 for most of our stay. That is the perfect temperature for me.
I have not had to turn on the AC yet. Even though it was in the 80's yesterday, there was a breeze.
    Hi Irene-enjoy you pool day.
I will try to post from my phone while I am away, but no guarantees.

    Hi
Currently It is 63 degrees outside. Since the Living room is a little warm I have opened the door to the porch to cool it down for free :)
We will headed out to watch the Memorial Day Parade Yesterday. It was comfortable in the shade sitting on a folding chair with a nice breeze to keep things cool.

That would indicate that You are jetting off today.
Those temperatures sound really great, Enjoy them.

When The Living room was 81 degrees at 8 PM and the porch wss showing higher On the AC went. The Wall mounted unit does make it harder to talk and listen to the TV however suffering from terminal Sweat is no fun either. If You can or can not post from the phone That is OK by me.

Congratulations on that walk, I wish I felt up to getting out and walking. The 1.25 blocks to the parade was about my current distance :(

Mom used to watch the Mass on TV if she did not feel up to going to the local church.

Both of us enjoyed the parade

    Hello Again
Relaxing is the Goal for a Holiday IMO.

At least the weather was better yesterday than on Sunday especially with the cooling breeze.

The Date that the Scheduler gave is June 21, That is why I need to call the doctor today and see if he can get it moved up. One week ago he said it should be in two weeks. I'm not real happy.

    Have a Good Day

    Hi
Currently It is 59 degrees outside. There was another round of storms yesterday with thunder in the afternoon and storm damage in other parts of NJ. According to this mornings Weather forecast the visibility in much of the state is 0.1 to 0.5 miles due to fog.

And another day of perfect grass growing weather here in NJ with enough sun and rain. I think my brother scared mother nature when he bought a watering can and a watering wand for the potted plants and as a result we are having rain often enough to not need them

I'm not surprised that Laundry needed doing after the amount of time You were gone.
In our family when traveling to see family we always shipped most of the things via UPS and only had a carry on so no time was spent waiting for checked luggage to appear, and hope it appeared and then shipped things back via UPS.

    Good morning.
Came back to hot weather. In the 80s during the day...in the 60s at night, which is great for sleeping.
Painting class this morning. And my cleaning person is coming today. I'll have a busy weekend. My daughter is hosting the wedding shower for my future daughter-in-law on Sunday. I'll help her decorate, and I'm making some frittata muffins for the shower.
Roger, I find it easier to check a bag, and to carry a backpack for the few things I want to take on board. That way I can take full size toiletries if I want, and can pack things like nail clippers in the checked bag. Also, don't have to lug around a heavy bag waiting in the airport. And the backpack fits under the seat, so I don't have to put anything in the overhead bins.
Have fun getting your nails done, Irene. I'm going for a mani-pedi with my daughter on Saturday....looking forward to it, haven't done that in a really long time.
    Happy Thursday, everyone. :)

I have posted more humor, Enjoy

    Hi
Currently It is 63 degrees outside. There was another round of storms yesterday in the late afternoon into the evening and then around 11 PM a final round of heavy rain. Before the last of the rain parts of the are had 2 to 2.5 inches of rain and flooded streets.

When I did a followup visit to the local doctor Wednesday as much to bring him up to date my brother suggested that since I was unable to walk far why not ask about a Handicap Placard. I printed out both types of applications, the long term one and a short 6 month application which is what I went with. The Temporary one is good for six months with one 6 month renewal. That one i finished filling out Thursday and looking at it I saw that at the bottom there was a place for the Chief of Police to sign it. When I went to the local PD it appears that they hand out the placards for the 6 month ones. I left it with them and they called me back later and Voila I have a Red Temporary Handicap Placard without ever having to brave the end of month Crowd at the Motor Vehicle Commission facility. I feel bad that I need it and I am hopeful that once I have the surgery and follow up treatments if needed I will bounce back.

FWIW the Police Chief approved and signed the form despite the PD being busy dealing with some emergencies. Our town departments work pretty efficiently. The Placard expires November 30 and by then I will know if I need to have the doctor re-certify for another 6 month or not.

I just wish the bedroom would cool down better overnight it seems to be stuck at 72 degrees and I am loathe to use the AC so I just use a Box Fan for now. I am also hoping that the AC works as I had no luck when I looked for one that would fit last year just in case.

Some of the restriction on what can be carried onboard strike me as ridiculous. Nail clippers as a weapon, really ?

Which reminds me that I need to trim my toenails, they are too long :(

    Hello Irene
If I said I missed getting out the door early and meeting people along the way ?
I used to stop and talk to the crossing guards when I walked, I passed several.

I hope You are right, I have a feeling that recovery will take a while since the liver will have to grow back to full size.

    Have a Good Day
    Roger

    Good morning.
Roger, I have ups and downs with exercise. I also hate when I can't do what I used to, or normally do. Something to look forward to when you've recovered.
My husband and daughter liked what the hairdresser did, so I will have her do it again for the wedding. My hair is too curly to bother with on a regular basis, but will go through it for a special occasion!
    Hi Jo and Irene.
Off for a mani-pedi today. It's a nice sunny day, high of 82 expected.
    Happy Saturday, everyone. :)
    Hello Vix
I used to be able to handle 60 + pound boxes with no trouble in the 80s and 90s, Now a case of 24 1 liter bottles is enough.

I hope Your day went well. Stay Dry today.

    Have a Nice Day
    Roger

good morning , on our walk to the lake I found quarter that's a first in a long time. We went for breakfast had a farmers omelet with swiss cheese it was really good left most of the fried potatoes . I feel like I got in my veggies for the day I also had dry rye bread everything was really good. This afternoon we are going to visit a friend in the hospital she is bleeding internally, she has been there since Friday take care everyone
