hi all, it has been a busy day I did get my food shopping done and we walked Annie I did have to run up to Trenton which is always a chore take care

    Hi Irene
Yesterday was busy enough that I ended up needing a nap, oh well, it did make for a less than satisfactory nights sleep after 3:30AM.

    Have a Nice Day

    Good afternoon;
Vix-Keeping good thoughts for Pete as he goes through his treatments.
Irene-Congrats on that great step count. :) I am not using my Fitbit anymore. Hubby bought me an Apple watch for Mother's day. It counts steps, activity, exercise and heart rate.
I can even answer my phone using my watch, but only if the watch is in range of the phone.
Roger-I found 2 cents yesterday while I was watering the plants at work.
Nothing new here, just work and more work. I have 5 more years to work before I can retire at my full Social Security.....Not that I'm counting. :p
Have a good evening and a great weekend. :)
    Hi Joanne
That is an interesting set of features for the Apple Watch, How is battery life ?

I would have preferred to work until full retirement age too, OTOH when they closed where I was working... I was counting too.

Congrats on finding money at work.

    Good morning.
    Thanks, all.
Our temps are supposed to go up to 81 today, but scattered t-storms this afternoon and evening. Sort of hazy right now.
Roger, our gas co is on the list, but not our electric co. We spend less than average on gas, and the co says the average user will save $2 and change each month....nothing to write home about. Still can't justify the giant tax advantage for the rich to me.
Maryland is 14th on the list. But I'm ok with that. Would rather be close to my family in retirement and have good services, than live somewhere cheaper and far away. Those lists change all the time anyway, and it depends on who's figuring them out.
    Sounds like you're busy, Irene.
Jo, your Apple watch seems like quite a gadget. When we were kids, it would have been something in a sci-fi movie. At least you're closing in on your retirement date...the last few years go the fastest.
    No special plans for today...
    Happy Saturday! :)

    More humor has been posted

    Hi
I'm back from walking and found 25 cents (2 dimes and 5 pennies) spread out over several locations. The Temperature out the door was 70 degrees. As I was heading home 4 blocks from home it started drizzling :(

    Hi Vix
It was around 83 degrees according to the TV weather reports. I saw on the weather radar they showed that South NJ and the Delmarva area had heavy rain.

I would be happier to be 14th instead of 2nd on that list.

Something like the Apple watch would be more at home in the old Dick Tracy cartoons than in Sci-Fi IMO. OTOH What do I know.

    Have a Good Day

    Hi Irene
I lucked out yesterday, it was my brother's turn to mow the lawn and he came in soaked with sweat :(

I ended up with some Knee pain this morning so I took a couple of aspirins before I walked today and I made sure to have some of a NS snack item first. I try and avoid them on a empty stomach.

    Congratulations on the find

    Hi Vix
The change found was semi weird, Once on the way out after picking up my coffee, then in the street outbound and then on the way back back home in the same locations again

Hopefully the weather is better than the forecast. It rained here enough after I was back home to make the streets wet and not enough to dampen the ground under the trees where it stayed dry.

Nothing wrong with walking in the park.

    Thanks
    Roger

As I mentioned I got drizzled on within 4 blocks of the house, I survived it

The way I look at it, No money found today means a better chance tomorrow.

It looks like it will be a dreary looking day outside all day :(

    Good morning;
Today looks overcast and is supposed to be in the 60's.
Yesterday we went to a flea market. It was in the 70's with a nice breeze. Hubby bought a small anchor for his boat and I found 2 mugs to replace 2 that I broke.
Irene and Roger-congrats on the found money.
Vix-I love walking in the park.
Roger-I have to charge my watch every night. I think is uses up the battery because it is constantly monitoring heart rate and activity. I could probably go 2 days, but I don't let it get too low before charging.
Today is grocery shopping and running errands in between monitoring Vinny's glucose levels.
    Enjoy your day. :)

And I have now posted more humor, enjoy

    Hi
I'm back from walking and found 8 cents (8 pennies) within a one block area as I was nearing home. The Temperature out the door was 57 degrees.

We had rain Sunday afternoon into the evening, It was still raining lightly when I retired for the day. This morning it was not raining, however as wet as everything was and considering the Drops falling from the trees it had recently ended. I did manage to stay dry OTOH so it was all good.

Jo, I love walking in the park too....we didn't go yesterday, too wet (also today ). There was really heavy rain last night, woke me up. Supposed to rain most of this morning. What kind of a boat does your husband have?
I have an acupuncture appt this afternoon. Will do my exercises at home. And can always find other things to do around the house. Also need to stop at the library.

    Hi Joanne
Sunday temperatures were Good if wet.

We have a cabinet full of mugs, lifetime supply unless we get really clumsy
I also have two Soup Mugs that I use as cereal bowls from the Dollar Store. I could use them as really large coffee mugs I suppose.

I have a suspicion that having found money for a couple of days in a row that Tuesday I will not be so lucky

I suspect that I would try it for two days just to see. I like to know how long things run on a battery.

Good Luck with the Glucose Levels

    Hi Vix
It looked like South NJ and Down into Your area are having a lot more rain from what last nights weather forecast was showing. I believe we are done with the rain already and it is now drying up outside.

I hope the rain is ended by the time You leave for Your appointment, I never liked driving in the rain either with the truck for work or with the car.

Laundry is now churning away and that will be my main chore for the day

    Hi
I'm back from walking and no cents. The Temperature out the door was 52 degrees, despite that it was pleasant walking.. Yesterday we had a high around 72 degrees. South of me in NJ some locations had over 6 inches of rain according to Mondays weather forecast.

To the good it did end long enough for You to take Annie for a walk.

    Hi Vix
You keep busy to the point that I would be overloaded

It is a cloudless sunny day outside. I almost wish it had stayed cloudy since the Sun was in my eyes on the homeward leg of my walking. Or to put it another way I did not think to take the Visor that would have shaded my eyes when I left :(
