I went to the opening event of my high school grad class 10 year anniversary. It didn't take long before the shine came off of the nostalgia and I left... I haven't been back since...

This is particularly relevant... This morning, my son (night shift worker) fed the cats before I got up. He left a note to that effect for me before he went to bed. So imagine my surprise when the cats both arrived and acted as if they were starving. When they didn't let up, in order to be able to make my breakfast peaceful, I put a small dollop of food into each one's dish. They devoured and then desisted in circling my feet.
Yea, I fed my cats before I headed out late this afternoon, knowing I'd not be back until well after the cats' typical dinner time...of course, as I walked in the door, Seminole, my old man/food vulture was sitting at his bowl like he needed to be fed again now that I was home...and there was still food left in his bowl from earlier...sheesh!
Ours are the same. They start in around 5:45 a.m. You would never guess that they are fed daily, without fail. If they don't wake someone up their day is ruined.2 -

No, it does not seem necessary, but when I encounter cursive writing in my work, I am struck by it's beauty.2
