My hair is pretty ridiculous right now. I doubled the biotin I was taking to 10,000 mcg, and that's helping, but now I have these tufts of new hair growing in everyplace and it looks so wonky. I'm just glad it's starting to grow back but holy cow, I thought I had frizzy hair before this? It's unreal now.

I wonder why it seems that the hair thing is more a female issue. I have not read of any guys having bariatric hair loss.

Oh my, I have this on my list to discuss on my 3 month post op appointment tomorrow because I have noticed it really bad the past few days. Will discuss Biotin with him and see if that needs to be added and of course, to have my thyroid levels rechecked since that hasn't been done since the surgery. He wanted to wait till three month mark to check all of those levels again.

It's a common issue for women whenever they lose any great amount of weight - the same thing generally happens after a woman has a baby. It has to do with an impact to hormone levels.
