    I'm back! I've been off the grid because my computer broke the day of the marathon. I had a great trip and a great race.

    1st: 4.64 purposeful walking - MTD 4.64
    2nd: 3.89 purposeful walking - MTD 8.53
    3rd: 5.91 purposeful walking, 4.27 cycling - MTD 18.71

    Walked along the Promenade, looking out over the Irish Sea this afternoon - amazing weather, so warm, with a heat haze on the horizon. Sadly there is a cold front on its way.

    @kar328 - the cobwebs get blown away and equilibrium is restored - it can't be beaten and certainly helps with the survival of those 'ugly' 'shifts' at work.

    After surviving one of those ugly charge nurse shifts that make my ever growing top ten list last night, I was resigning myself to going to the gym and using the treadmill since the rain keeps coming, but it got to the point where it was a light drizzle, so I was able to get outside and walk instead. 4.4 miles added, some of my sanity restored.

    Late to the party - again. And I don't think I made goal last month - again. I swear I will get my *kitten* together this month. And make goal. And log my miles timely. Put me down for 50 miles.

    Lovely day, just very windy. Just wandered around on my bike. Gave no real thought on where to go, just auto pilot.

    10/01 - 15.0 miles cycling
    10/02 - 02.0 miles walking
    10/03 - 14.0 miles cycling

    Total: 31.0 miles

    Cold and rainy yesterday, not too much chance to get moving. Today is cool, but sunny. Great chance to add some miles.

    Oct. 4: 12.86 miles of which 7.5 miles running and 5.38 walking

We're all doing the best we can, given our life circumstances - and yes, it's good to move to keep ourselves in mental health, but we're all doing the best we can :smiley:
