    4.4 mile run/walk to start my 17 day 'stay-cation.' Ran off a lot of work related frustration and the weather was absolutely gorgeous after a week of rain, so I think I'm off to a good start.

    After a rest day, well washing and lubing my bike, I got a good one in today.

    10/01 - 15.0 miles cycling
    10/02 - 02.0 miles walking
    10/03 - 14.0 miles cycling
    10/04 - 18.0 miles cycling
    10/05 - 03.0 miles walking
    10/06 - 13.0 miles cycling

    Total: 65.0 miles

    Walked w/the boys this morning then got on the recumbent. The weather is beautiful! Wish it would rain, but it is beautiful!!

    Tues - 7.45 walking miles
    Tues - 12.0 recumbent miles

    Spent Sunday helping mom set edge stones around her new fence. The fence company said they would be sure the fence was tight to the ground. Right......the dachshunds have proven that false. The best part of the day was letting the girls back out in the yard and watching them go right to the spots they remembered to sneak out. No luck this time. Looks like we fixed it.

    Lots of work, not so much forward motion. Added 4.25 miles walking. October total 11.25 miles.

    17.76/65 complete...
    we finished wk 8 day 2 of c25k plan...pretty happy with our progress to date...
    started with a 16:11 average pace and have dropped to 13:25 so far...we'll see where we are next friday when we end...would love to be closer to 13 but am really quite pleased with the progress as it stands right now...
