When I make this, I probably will brown the top. I love a little crisp to the outer layer on smooth dishes. I look through this thread frequently...I really shouldn't, it makes me feel like I'm starving... Like watching cooking shows!!

I did these for dinner. Bell peppers stuffed with diced bell pepper, diced white and red onion, beef, riced cauliflower, a bit of garlic, and low carb sauce. Turned out delicious.

Most interesting thing we've created...by accident...that has quickly became a favorite. Egg and cheese deep fried, resembles the taste and texture of a good fish and chips batter.

Fathead pizza is awesome. I love me some stuffed peppers, but I stuff mine with tuna, fried cauli-bits, onion, and cheese. Kinda reminds me of tuna casserole, lol. I also like Jello salad with celery and olives in it. I know, how retro :D . It's not like I ever ate that growing up, my background is European, we ate very different food from that, day-to-day. I figure I probably like those things because they remind me of community pot-lucks and fun get-togethers.

I've gotten burned out on tuna salad, but the tuna cooked in a bell pepper with cooked onions and cheese in it, sounds really good!!! I'm going to play with that!

I couldn't bring myself to post a picture of it cause it really is gruesome. But if you love beets like I do, the lunch I've been making on my office days is UHMAAAAZING.

About 4oz of chopped up chicken breast
1 carton of 2% fage plane greek yogurt
about 4 inches of english cucumber
half a package of "love beets in light vinegar"

salt, pepper, garlic powder the crap out of everything and mix up. It's like gazpacho and borscht all in one and has about 40 grams of protein. It's delish.

Mine sometimes looks like this although if you try it you will likely never have a Starkist, Chicken of the Sea or Bumble Bee again.

I'm always afraid of lamb, as I've had delicious mild chops with garlic slivers stuffed in them (Father in law cooked those on the grill from local pastured lamb) BUT I've also had a few dishes where it tastes like I've been licking the wool on the back of some manky ram :s . Those 'experiences' were in restaurants, too.
    Your kebabs look delicious though!

This is what I made for breakfast-

    Chard, Mushroom and Onion Quiche
    Filling:
    1.8 oz onion
    2.5 oz bella mushrooms
1.9 oz fresh chard from my garden
    3 med organic eggs
    3 large eggs
    1/2 cup organic almond milk
    1 cup organic shredded cheese
    4 tsp Bisquick
    Spices:
1 tsp salt (after making the recipe I realized it was high in sodium so you may not want to add this)
1 tbsp, Spices, sage, ground fresh from the garden
    0.50 tsp(s), Spices, onion powder
1 tsp(s), Parsley, fresh from the garden
1 tsp(s), Rosemary, fresh from the garden
0.50 tsp, Spices, pepper, red or cayenne
    Base:
10 Yves Kale & Quinoa Bites (these were left-overs)

I can't figure out how to take pictures but it was very tasty.

Grilled steak and jalapeño poppers. A new favorite as the jalapeño crop is just coming in. So good.
    Poppers
    Halved and seeded jalapeños -8
Package full fat cream cheese- 8oz
Extra sharp cheddar, grated fine -4oz
Fresh or dried chives 2-4 tsp
    Garlic powder 1/2 tsp
    Hormel real bacon bits.

Cut and clean jalapeños. Mix everything else up(except bacon). Helps if the cream cheese is room temperature - makes mixing easier.
Fill the jalapeño halves with the cheese mixture and cover cheese with the bacon bits 400*F for 10-15 minutes. Yum!
