What butter in my bulletproof coffee?

    Ok now I've learned bulletproof coffee is real coffee?? I thought it was just your fav brand of coffee with butter and oil

    Bulletproof is the brand, but it's become synonymous with any concoction made from coffee, mct & butter... kind of like how people refer to tissue as Kleenex.

    The "bulletproof" comes from the fact that it makes one feel like Superman. I'm almost nine months in and have yet to try it (am getting closer, thanks to this thread). My coffee now is decaf with heavy whipping cream.

    Good old Dave and his branding. You can use your favorite coffee to make 'bulletproof' coffee. Or you can do tea. Or bone broth.

    Oh, and remember, too, that while you get used to "drinking" your fats/meal, you may need to supplement with a smaller snack so your body doesn't treat you like it's starving as it accepts different forms of nourishment. It took me 1-2 weeks to stop feeling that "OMG, I'm still starving" reaction when drinking more than enough calories to sustain me for a meal... Not everyone has this, but if you do, it's normal, too. :)

    I don't think I have that problem lol just with CO and HC in my coffee I'm stuffed for a few hours
