there is a non scale victory section but there is no reason we can not do it here to.the saying inspirational sayings is a great idea.i do not know how to set up a sub section but we can post them here.
1 : my favorite saying is if at first you do not succeed try try again.
2: we all know the story of the tortise and the hare slow and steady wins the race this is true in weight loss
sorry about my spelling
my non scale victory was a couple days ago, i went to see my specialist and he cut my metformin dose in half removed my water tablet and changed my stomach pill to when needed instead of daily0 -

that time of night is when i do most of my mfp work so i do not snack but if i really need to popcorn is great if not loaded with butter and salt or fresh veggys
I read that as adding veggies to the popcorn. Thanks for making me smile!
your right that is how it sounds i meant it as two choices0 -

When I login to MFP, the first thing I see is "31 lbs lost," but I can't help but think that that doesn't excite me nearly as much as thinking about what I've gained. And boy have I gained a lot. Strength, will power, endurance, confidence, some sweet muscles, awesome friends, the list goes on. Sure, the weight loss is exciting, but don't forget that that's just one little part of the bigger picture.
Lik this is what one of my friends wrote but so true

No processed food and my sodium levels are really low. BUT, not thirsty and not drinking much water.0

Thanks for the evening snack idea, Margaret, and the popcorn might make me thirsty!0

Best copied post candidate, from a different challenge:the NYT yesterday:
http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2015/11/17/health/wiredwell-food-diary-super-tracker.html
It's an interactive that shows how a guy lost 100 pounds over 3 years with the help of food tracking. Check it out!
Impressive seeing his struggles and choices. Despite some bad pizza binge days he is still ahead of the pack. Lets make blue cew ahead of the pack too.0 -

That's great about the boots! Yesterday I wore a wrap dress that I haven't worn in years because it didn't wrap correctly. Now it does.0 -

Darling, open your eyes. You are not made up of those words that hurt you or that number on the scale. Or the expectations that you feel you will never meet. You are made up of nothing more than you. Simply, beautifully, wonderfully, uniquely you. You are a lovely and complex soul. An individually fascinating combination of thoughts, ideas, feelings and emotions. No other is as beautiful as you. Look past the mirror. Look at your soul. Only then will you see yourself as you truly are. Beautiful. So SMILE! And don't forget to LOVE YOURSELF!0 -
Protein is the macro I'm working towards. I have some chicken breasts baking now.0
-
Im working towards fiber, I hit all the other ones usually except fiber.....0

Better day avoiding processed foods today, definitely more conscious of what I'm eating!0

Realizing how important it is to take things one day at a time, especially with weight loss. Sure, 36 pounds in 3 months sounds long, intimidating, and hard, but when you break it down... 36 pounds in 3 months is on my 12 pounds in one month... 12 pounds in one month is only 3 pounds a week... 3 pounds a week is only half a pound a day... Which is actually a lot to accomplish and not so hard to do. The biggest cause of failure is seeing the distance there is to go and not taking into consideration that you're not leaping from A to B; you're walking.

Hi Blue Team! Hope everyone is having a great day! I hit my water, macro, and step goal for the day Still a little bit of processed food but no where close to what I used to eat...keep up the good work everyone!0
-
For me, I try to remember that I'm striving for "progress, not perfection" when it comes to my food choices and exercise routine.
The macro I've been focusing on is protein. Today is a great day! I met 100% of my protein goal (and fat and carbs too - ya me!!)
Alas, I did eat some processed foods; however, I'm okay with that. I think they were good choice for me today.MargaretLunan wrote: »i meant to say great job to the ones who have signed in at least twice but it did not come out correct. being the mentor is stressing me out but i will never give up but may make errors, sorry go blues go0 -

You're doing an awesome job!0 -
Hey Team Blue!
Well I started the week helping with a giant dessert sale for my daughters school..oh what luck...lol . I've also been busier than usual with work or else I would be more active...
Kept my eating on track, yeah!!! and now I realize that Garmin connect only transfers my step data and not weight and exercise to MFP. I use a vivofit...I'm guessing I will have to make MFP my
permanent record keeper for everything.
Hope everyone's week is going well!
