    Goal: Become fit and healthy once more. Set the best example for my two daughters as possible. Swim 50kms by end of June. Lose up to 10kgs.

    I'm 45 years old with a nearly 2-year old toddler. I include my age because I think it affects my goals, which are to be healthier in general, but specifically are to increase my flexibility, strength and balance. I'm not very concerned with my weight per se, but I do want to lose some body fat and fit back into my pants more comfortably. I include the fact that I have a toddler because it heavily impacts my ability to exercise, plus there are still some residual affects of childbirth.

    Goals:
    Short-term (next 3 months): improve my diet (reduce sugar, fat and alcohol); get into a regular, home-based exercise routine
    Long-term: Increase strength, muscle mass and bone density; increase flexibility and balance; create a fun, family exercise program.

    i quitted smoking 3 years ago and i work on movie sets there is always food etc so i took 35 lbs :'(
    i lost 15 so far 23 to go to gain my normal weight back
    my metabolism slowed down as well in my 30's i guess i want to build back muscles as well

    I'm vegan but i eat too many calories becayse i live a sedentary lifestyle basically.. i over eat on soy products like veggie pattys or falafels.. SOY products basically and chips. I will do my best to limit the intake or refrain from it once and for all. if anyone my weight trying to loose 29-33 pounds please let me know your tips and tricks! of if you are my goal weight please contact me, message me or something

    Weight: between 115-120, it's been hard because i've been gaining muscle

    Primary Goals: Gain muscle and "tone up," lose belly fat
    Nutrition Goals: I've been sticking to 1,200 calories a day, but adding more if i'm exercising a lot. I'm not cutting out the things I crave, but I don't want to eat late night snacks anymore.

    My weight loss has seriously slowed down (I started MFP at 158) and I'm looking to get a buddy to help encourage me to reach my goals a bit faster.

    Activity: StrongLifts since April. I run regularly with a few races in between (mostly half marathons or 10 milers). I bike to and from work about 6 miles. My problem is that I'm a foodie and need to get this under control because all the exercise in the world will not make me lose weight.

    we seem somewhat similar! (see my post above) I feel you on the foodie thing...I'm the same. I can't cut out the foods I love so I try to amp up my workouts!

    I work out 4-6 days a week, I used to run but since I broke my foot in August running is a bit too hard for me.

    I find that weight and height aren't enough for someone to be a twin. You need similar weight, height, body fat percentage, and weight distribution. Two people could be the same weight, height, and even body fat percentage and still look very different. Weight distribution signals similar genetics because where people put on weight is determined by our genetic makeup.
