4-7lbs by January 31st

Hi all,
As a previous poster said: when you're losing that last bit of weight, even 3, 5 or 7pounds is a lot and really difficult to shed. Would anyone like to join me in trying to lose 5 pounds (or your own goal) by January 31st? January 31st is almost exactly 6 weeks from today - I am aiming high even though losing .6 to .8 lbs a week is hard for me at this point. If interested, just join this thread and I will be checking in every Monday.

I like this challenge! I'm there, too: .5-.8/lbs/week is a major accomplishment, especially as we up the exercise and exchange heavier muscle for fat. I'll really have to bear down on this goal. I'm in! Thanks for starting The January 31st challenge.
