It has been sssoo wet here the past two days so getting out and about has been challenging. I'm so glad the holidays are over and DH is back to work. I'll be able to get back into my routine!

Brrrrrr. Now in the teens here. Sending you cooler weather Janet. Here was a fun suggestion from my running club. Put a set amount of money aside for every mile you work out. It could be a penny dime, quarter or dollar. See if you hit 2016 miles this year. If yo set aside a dollar and reach your goal, you have a nice stash for your running, cycling gear or even for race fees for 2017 or a nice little getaway.
Jan. 3: 9.85 miles of which I rain 5.85 miles and walked 4 miles
    TTD: 28.1 miles

3.1 mile run. Did my Hot Chocolate 5K this morning, don't have the official time yet but it's in the 31 min range. I was hoping for under 30, but this was a trail run after a week of rain. And I'd swear most of it was uphill, steeper hills than I'm used to. So I'm actually okay with the time.

@Kar: Awesome! You go girl! While low times are always a boost to the morale, you accomplished something you set out to do and you should be proud of yourself. Congratulations!

Thanks :-) It ended up being 31:09. Looking at the other stats made me feel better - 3rd in my age group, 22nd female out of 131 and 48th overall out of 181. Sore legs today, the hills got me.

    2.1 mile treadmill walk
