Currently, for the first half of the year:

    2/28 - Marathon
4/23 - Half Marathon (probably, not signed up yet)
    6/18 - Half Ironman

I need to fill in some other races, especially an olympic tri.

@WhatMeRunning Do you get some special Half Fanatics label for that? That's an intimidating race calendar!

Up coming schedule looks like this:

    5K - 4/16/16
    13.1 - 4/23/16
    5K - 4/30/16
50K - 7/23/16 (just so I can call myself and Ultra Marathoner)
    48.6 - 1/5/17 - 1/7/17 (Disney World Dopey's Challenge - 5K, 10K, 13.1, and 26.2 on consecutive days) Penciled in for now have not registered yet.

I will fill in the summer and fall schedule as work permits. I'm usually a last minute sign up for most races.

    Boston - 4/18/16
Cincinnati Flying Pig - 5/1/16, distance is tbd--I need to see what Boston does to me. I will run the 5k with my kids on 4/30/16. Ideally, I would like to do the hm the next day.
    Peachtree Road Race -10k, 7/4/16
Chicago Marathon - 10/9/16, goal is sub 3 hours.
    Thanksgiving Day Race -10k

There will be more races but I fit them in as I can and do them more as tune ups for my bigger races.

if you want to do this you better register as soon as it opens in April. I think this and the Goofy sold out in just a few hours after registration opened.

 Yes, yes it does earn a Half Fanatics moon level of Earth. The secret is out, that's my real motivation there for the halfs. True story.

Target race for the year is my first miler. WTF100 That's in September, between now and then I'm trying to hit all bar one local ultras, so averaging 1 per month. They're mainly being used as training runs and for experience though. My year is looking like
    23/1 ADU 100K (12:34:01)
5/3 Lark Hill Dusk till Dawn (100K, might drop to 50k depending on this weeks training)
    28/3 WAMC 40 Miler
    10/4 Bunbury 3 Waters 50K
    8/5 Murray Marathon (If there's a 50k option)
5/6 Kep Ultra (Fat@ss event, due to red tape BS last year) 100K
    2/7 Feral Pig 50 Miler
    13/8 24hr Track Ultra
    24/9 WTF100 (Hoping sub 24hr)
    20/11 Truth or Consequences 50K
    18/12 6inch
21/1/17 ADU (Hoping to do the 50K & 25K. Have to hold a 6min/km pace or better for both, with no rest between them)

Holy crap that's a little scary seeing it written out like that. I'm going to be dancing on the knife edge of over training/overuse/burnout for a while!
I am in absolute awe of this!

March 26, 2016 Spring Forward Distance Run 15K (Mendon, NY)
April 18, 2016 Boston Marathon (Hopkinton, MA)
April 24, 2016 Flower City Challenge Half Marathon (Rochester, NY)
July 16, 2016 Shoreline Half Marathon (Hilton, NY)
September 18, 2016 Rochester Marathon (Rochester, NY

Boston is the A race. It's beginning to feel imminent.

I'm not really training for Spring Forward as a race; it will be a training exercise for Boston. (That, and with it coming up tomorrow I'm out of time to train for a 15K.)

Flower City is awfully close to Boston, but I couldn't pass up the price of $250 for 3 halfs and a full marathon. So I might have to run Flower City slow. I'll see how much Boston beats me up.

More races will appear on the calendar, and I know what some of them probably are; but this is all I'm currently registered for.

The above broke me! I DNF'ed my second 100K at 50k. I never entered the 40 Miler as I'm now in recovery mode. Bunbury 50K is now down to 10K (to be done at a power walk, still aiming for sub 65min though)
The 24hr and WTF100 are still on the calendar, but it is going to depend on my recovery. Nothing else is being considered currently.

Did New Orleans Marathon at the end of Feb, and now going to do a couple of half marathons before the triathlon season here gets started in earnest. Sly Fox in St. Charles, IL on April 23, and then Sunburst in South Bend, IN on June 4. My next marathon is going to be Seattle on Thanksgiving weekend, since my dad wants to do the half and it would be fun to do the same event while he can (he will be 73 when it happens).

Thanks @WhatMeRunning I seem to be making good progress so far, but it's a long way to go.
