Okay so I didn't do too bad this weekend. I was so exhausted Friday I didn't drink at all and was in bed by 7:00. Saturday I chilled and Sunday I got a bunch of chores done. Sipped my way through the chillin' and didn't start sipping until my chores were done. Have an awesome Monday Lushes.

We had friends in town Friday. I made dinner and we drank lots of wine. Stayed up till 2. Felt pretty crappy Saturday but spent about 3 hours at a 4 year old party at Puzzles Fun Dome. It was almost as bad as it sounds..... Saturday we were in bed by 10:30 and just had a few drinks. Last night we went and saw Macklemore and didn't do too bad. Good show! Planning on 0s during the week.

I managed a quiet, moderate weekend. The husband is on his annual ski trip in Park City. The son and I finished up Fargo (crazy *kitten* show), treated ourselves to InnOut burgers and had some good bonding time.
I'm going to try to make February a healthy month with lots of exercise, little booze and really crack down on my diet. We do have an anniversary to splurge on but overall I expect more booze free days than not. I'm determined to get these extra pounds off!!

Thanks for starting the thread Robin!
Sydney, I am with you in spirit, but am not sure I have your determination. We will see, perhaps your inspiration will get me going!

Well, my birthday was yesterday so my husband & I went to KC to celebrate my birthday. Lots of delicious food was had & tons of delicious drinks as well. While I should go to the gym tonight...I'm not. Instead I have to grocery shop :( And I'll probably have some wine when I get home too...I'm in a funk because I had to come back to work today. Mondays make me grumpy.

Happy birthday Bridget! 30's are the new 20's you know. :)

    Monday - 0
    Will have another 0 tonight.
Wednesday I will likely have some wine. I'm dropping my kids off at my friend's so I can go to my work hearings and likely I'll want to have some wine with her after.

    Happy birthday Bridget!!
Monday -0 I almost had wine but had a piece of dark chocolate instead and just made myself go to bed.
Shooting for another tonight. Making pasta sauce though which is dangerous since I usually use red wine.

Happy belated birthday Bridget. Mondays make me grumpy too.

I had a greyhound and a vodka pom last night. Not too bad. I need to get it together and start doing things better. I will look to you, Syd, for inspiration like Gary.

The wine was opened to cook with...so yeah....I had a glass. Good workout day again tho and I ate well.
Let's see what happens with that open bottle. I'd like to see it sit there until Friday :)

More of the same around here.....finished painting Saturday and we unpacked the container. Monday, I unpacked most of the boxes. Yesterday I went for a "meet and greet" for one of the interviews I went on last week, then unpacked the rest of the boxes. Today, my mission is to take the bulk of our stuff from the apartment over to the condo, that way tomorrow I can clean a bit and be gone. Goal for the next two days is make the condo livable. My kitchen is all put together, which makes me very happy, just have to organize some stuff and get the bed together...I AM SO EXCITED TO SLEEP ON MY DELICIOUS TEMPURPEDIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been drinking daily. Sunday was a doozey but one of the most fun days we have had. Although I haven't had any structured workouts this week, I have been on my feet for over 8 hours a day, so calories are being burned one way or another!!!
    Have a great day xo

    Well....my plans have been foiled.

    Mon - 0
Tues - A beer and 2 small glasses of wine
Wed - a bottle of wine pretty much.

It was warm Tuesday so I enjoyed the deck till it started raining. Then yesterday was also nice. I brought a bottle of wine to my friend's when I picked the kids up and ended up staying till about 7:30. Then went home and had a little bit more wine. I will have a 0 tonight and take it easy Friday and Saturday. I guess I'll be drinking Sunday since it's Super Bowl.

Me too Ashley...I had wine again last night. It's just silly for me to think I won't drink any if there's an open bottle sitting right there.

Weigh in tomorrow morning. I was fairly good this week- tried to stay on target, got some workouts in etc. My weakness is to have a drink or two and a snack in the evening. If I could get that under control the pounds would fly off. But then I would need something else to look forward to all day.

    Perhaps an evening walk?

I hope the weigh in went well Gary.

Ladies I agree on the wine. Can't not drink it. Here's to an awesome Friday. :drinker: I am ready for the Super Bowl since I am such a Broncos fan. I will be eating crap and enjoying beverages.

Speaking of wine..... Eric met a buddy for beers after work so I had stopped for wine. I had a cocktail before then a couple glasses, but ended up giving my last 1/2ish to Eric. I was just sort of done. Weird.... I tired a new recipe: eggplant rollatini. It uses thinly sliced eggplant in place of noodles. I stuffed it with ricotta, ground chicken, spinach, parm, and some seasoning. It was yummy.

I lost 1.5 pounds this week. Could be slightly dehydrated, but I'll take it! I have not seen 130 since July of 2013. Wow. I have not lost the last 2 weeks so maybe my body decided to catch up. I hope it sticks. I sort of have new motivation. Maybe it will help me drink less next week......

Good luck to your Broncos, Robin. I'll be pulling for them.
    Congrats on the loss Ashley!
After all my hard work this week...I got nuthin to report. :/ I'm not sure what else to do so while I'm very frustrated...I'm just going to keep at it and hope that it catches up to me at some point. I'm logging everything, exercising hard 5-6 days/week and even though I'm indulging in wine...it's well within my calories. I am going to up my water intake. That's definitely one area I know I can improve upon.
TGIF lushes!! Plan on enjoying it with some grilling and movies, tv shows and the super bowl. It's going to be in the 80's here but the husboy is sick, so it will be a stick around the house kind of weekend. :drinker:

Down 1.5 lbs. Am happy about that but know it will only take a couple days of being off the plan to put it all back on. Gotta stay focused.

Hang in there Sydney- drinking more water sounds like a good plan. I am rooting for ya!

    Ashley- that sounds yummy!

    And yeah, Go Broncos!

Hey lushes, I was plodding on eating pretty well and only drinking at weekends (usually a bottle of wine over 1 or 2 nights). I drank a bit more last week as I had to buy Guiness to make a beef and ale stew and it was a 4 pack and I only needed 1 bottle for the stew....shame.
Made a snap decision last weekend to start on a 5/2 type diet as the 'squidge' is refusing to shift at the moment. I'm sure I managed to lose weight before when eating sensibly and drinking in moderation but anyway. I survived my week with 2 'fast' (600 calorie) days. Wasn't too bad actually. Tonight I think I'm going for it with a bottle of wine which may well undo all the good but there we go.
    Happy Friday lushes X

Friday night - margarita at dinner, bottle of wine at home
    Saturday - 2 cocktails, 3 ciders
Sunday - 1.5 beers, 2 small glasses of wine

So while I drank every day but Monday last week, I didn't drink super large quantities, so that's a start. I am planning on 0's till Thursday. Weather is cold and snowing now, so the warm weather sitting outside excuse of last week is not valid this week.
