I'm shooting for some 0's right along with you ladies. Just got a good hour on the bike in and since I'm not real hungry I'm planning on something small for dinner.

Syd....1.5 margs last night after dance class. I think the margs were pure alcohol tho which is why I go to this particular restaurant. I did 2 classes back-to-back and felt they were warranted. I also had water at the restaurant and water when I got home.

I think I am getting more comfortable in those pole classes but just not strong enough to get all the moves down....slow, slow progress there.

    Tonight will be a zero.

Diana - funny about the electrician. What turned out to be the problem?

    Glad you have light wolf!!!

I am exhausted. I haven't slept well the last two days...last night I literally saw the clock every hour. Still managed to get up for my workout this morning....I saw no point in staying in bed if I wasn't sleeping but now I just wanna die I am so tired!!!
Nothing last night and I doubt anything tonight either. Fingers crossed I can sleep tonight!!!!

Boo Kate! I slept like crap night before last. Woke up several times all sweaty. I really think that occurs after weekend bingers and my body is doing some kind of detoxing. It didn't happen once to me while abstaining either in January or in June and of course I did my online medical research and found a relation between alcohol and night sweats..... Anyways, had a 0 last night and slept pretty well. Only woke once and fell right back asleep. Feeling crappy from allergies, but still got a (sweaty, humid) stroller run in this morning before work. I need to get rid of some of my bloat that's been hanging on since Bonnaroo!

Nice moderation Syd, Diana, and Kim!

Tomorrow is my day off and I have lunch plans with 2 frieds and then we're off to the spa! One is getting married Saturday.

Kate that's pretty much me every night including last night :grumble: or I just plain don't fall asleep :ohwell:

I did however get my 0

Monday - 0 as well as a good hour on the bike

Today I'm shooting for another 0. I've been productive again, assembled my awesome new kitchen trolly as well as completely reorganized all our kitchen drawers which look amazing now. Also getting laundry done and changing the bed as well as looking forward to a good bike ride in a bit  Our new floors got me motivated haha it was almost like moving in for the first time. Yesterday I completely reorganized our large and small bar as well as cleaned the kitchen, cat bathroom, vacuumed, swiffered n mopped, did laundry and cleaned our bedroom. Now I'm off to fold some more laundry.

relation between alcohol and night sweats.....

Interesting because I get itchy and restless during detox...

Tonight will be a zero. I woke up at 5A this morning I am now getting tired - but, will do the C25K to the ballgame and walk back. It takes about an hour round trip; plus, I take the crazy border collie with for excitement. He chases cars while on the leash. :ohwell:

Hubs picked up the new bed today. It's not assembled but I hope that he does that tomorrow!!

well those are ummm...interesting looking Gary

I had wine tonight. 2 glasses. but its not even 7:30 here and Ive been drinking water for the last hour. I'm gunna sleep like the dead tonight...busy, long day out and about. it was hot and humid and I came home cranky and tired.

Off to a family reunion tomorrow...just for the day. Son and I are driving 2 hrs there and back to see everyone. Early start...no time for exercise...but since we're driving I don't plan to drink either. Hopefully I won't eat too much crap. Or kill any annoying cousins/relatives.
Carry on lushes...hump day tomorrow and all.

Spending time with long lost relatives and not drinking...I would never survive!!! Maybe your family doesn't have as many loonies as mine:tongue:

    Have a safe trip!

Edited to add..Yeah Syd that is me looking cool floating down the Chattahoochee, mind you my butt was probably scraping on the rocks since that year we were in a bad drought. I want to go again since this year we have had tons of rain and it is probably more like rapids.

Gary - Those plants are very interesting...

For those who were wondering, I did the wiring all wrong. There were four wires coming from the wall and two from the fixture. i was pairing the wires three sets of twos and in this case it was supposed to be two sets of three, plus the ground. I will post pictures of all my handy-work soon. Just adding the final touches.

Wolf...I never would have admitted to doing something wrong...it would have Lenny's fault somehow

Another zero for me last night, I slept a little better but still not great. Probably another zero tonight.

Hello Lushes! I've been a terrible lush lately. I just can't seem to keep up with the thread! But I enjoy reading through when I get the chance.

Last weekend was a wedding weekend...in addition to the 4th being before that...so LOTS of drinks were had.

This week so far I've had all 0's...and still have managed not to workout. I need to get my butt in gear! And I'm definitely looking forward to Friday night so I can have a date night/drinks with my hubs!!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful hump day!! We're 1/2 way to the weekend!

Sad evening last night / today. Momma had to put our sweet little Peanut to sleep  It's tough but I'm happy she's not suffering anymore. She was 14 and had been going downhill for months now, she hung on like a trooper until the very end though  The last month or so whenever I would see her she wouldn't stop staring at me. I was thinking about that yesterday and I think she knew it was almost time to say goodbye and that she was telling me "take care of mom for me" which of course brings tears to my eyes as I type. She was a sweet little piglet and I will miss her something fierce but she's with our boy Furbal now  Husband asked me at one point if I wanted a beer and normally I would especially after losing a fur baby but I declined and built a cabinet instead while he had one.

    Monday - 0
    Tuesday - 0
Wednesday - 0 is the plan and a bike ride

    Happy hump day all

Kat - So sorry about Peanut. It is so hard to put down a beloved pet. Fourteen years is good for a pet. :flowerforyou:

Not much to report on this end just the same old same old.

    Wednesday - 1 shot vodka , 2 mini marys.

    Hello to my beloved lushes!!!

Kate, sorry about the puppy. It is sad. But, a puppy who is put down at the right time is lucky to not suffer.

    Hi Bridget!!

    Monday, 1.5 margs
    Tuesday, 0
Wednesday, 0 - but, after today at work - I should be drinking :grumble: I had to write myself up for a med error which is rare. It's very upsetting since I am usually so diligent.

    Aww Kat...I'm sorry. :flowerforyou:

I survived the family reunion. Didn't eat much..had 1 glass of wine...but now after driving home I'm going to enjoy a cocktail or 2.
Hopefully I will get in some exercise tomorrow.

Oh Kat, I am so sorry to hear about your pup. Its hard, but memories are what keep her alive, enjoy them!!!!

Syd, glad you survived the reunion and hope you enjoyed your cocktails!!!

Kim, I hate making mistakes, it can take the wind right out of you. Even perfect people make mistakes don't be too hard on yourself!!!

Last night I had 3 smallish grape vodkas and sprite zero. I wasn't going to but I was not looking forward to my work day today so I need to relax a bit.
Slept a little better last night and feel the best I have all week.
Depending on how the day goes today....my boss is back from travel and he is a D!CK....it could be a couple cocktails at home or happy hour! I'd prefer to stay home and keep my deficit so wish me luck!!!
Robin, I now have empathy for your work situation. My boss has always been a tool bag but recently he has been down right nasty and condescending and degrading that the thought of him being in the office gives me anxiety. Sometimes I wish he would just fire me so I could more actively search for a new job!!!
Anywho's, one more day til friday YAY!!!

Hey lushes. So only 4 drinks have been had since last check in. I bought some little bottles of mediocre pinot grigio and had one Tuesday. It's much easier to stop when there is no open bottle. And when the wine isn't that good. Yesterday had 2 wines at lunch with my girlfriends, got a massage and came home and had one more big glass. Was about to make a whipped cream vodka and soda, and decided not to and ceased drinking. I have 8 drinks left for the week and have book club Friday, wedding and concert Saturday.

    Sorry about the pup.
    And the d!ck boss.
And the plant...is that hens and chicks? I saw a friend post a pic of hers on FB, and they were actually flowering! We just planted a bunch in our yard more as a groundcover and I wonder what they're going to do.

Shooting for a 0 tonight. My goal is to cook at home and maybe get a stroller run in, but I am so easily swayed to dtiching plans and going to dinner and drinking instead. That's the downside of living close to everything....temptation is everywhere!

Good luck with the 8 drinks at a wedding  But seriously good luck I would never be able to do it!!!
And I have already been contemplating going out tonight...even after I said I want to keep my deficit. We have a great place that has amazing wings, a great beer selection and awesome happy hour prices. I must not let Lenny know I am thinking about it because he will want to go and then, well we will go!!! :blushing:

you got that great workout in kate....I'd use that to justify going out. I'm sorry about your d!ck boss. They really do suck the life out of you. i've had one, and ended up quitting. the husband has had a couple...managed to find a new job with one and transferred departments in another. I hope it all settles down for you. :flowerforyou:

I ended up tossing out my cocktail and almost tossing my cookies. I dunno what happened but I mustve had something that didnt sit well with the tummy. I really didnt eat much yesterday so I can't imagine what it was. But in anycase...I ended up in bed early with no cocktails. I needed it....and feel pretty great after a much needed good night sleep. Workout and errands today. We'll see how tonight goes...maybe some wine.
